The morning provides ideal conditions to witness two remarkable marine mammals: the spinner dolphin (Stenella longirostris) and the bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus), which often seek refuge in the bay at night to mate and feed. Join a guide on kayaks to responsibly and respectfully discover the dolphins of Mauritius.
This 2-hour experience is available to everyone and requires no prior kayaking experience.
Please note that dolphin sightings cannot be guaranteed. They may sometimes be off the coast, beyond kayak reach. In such cases, an alternative route will be offered to explore the Tamarind River and its wildlife.

Great kayaking with dolphins experience - We had a great time during our kayak tour and we got the chance to see many many dolphins.
Fabrice and Regine are great guides and made us feel safe and comfortable during the whole tour.
I would definately recommend this tour.

Great nature experience - After about half an hour, dolphins appeared, which we were able to accompany a little on their route. Thanks to our wonderful guide Jérémie we have also learned a lot about dolphins. We have always felt safe. Thank you very much

Amazing Kayak Tour – Dolphins & Monkeys! - We had an unforgettable experience on our kayak tour with Gilles! From start to finish, everything was perfect. Gilles is an incredibly kind and knowledgeable guide who truly cares about giving his guests the best experience. He took the time to explain everything, made sure we felt comfortable, and shared fascinating insights about the local nature and wildlife.
The absolute highlight of our trip was seeing dolphins and monkeys in their natural habitat—such a magical moment! The tour was well-organized, fun, and felt very personal. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a more beautiful adventure.

Fantastic experience - We had a fantastic experience on the dolphin kayak tour with our guide, Gilles. He was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, sharing so much about the local culture and nature. The tour itself was beautiful – we saw dolphins, which was absolutely worth it! Afterward, we paddled to the river, which was just as stunning. Gilles was super friendly and genuinely cared about giving us a great experience. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience, can highly recommend and well worth a bit of upper workout. - Brilliant kayak with Jeremie and we had the pleasure of naturally seeing the dolphins. Thank you for making it so great even though we capsized 🤣. If only Mauritius Government would make this the only way to see dolphins, instead of so many speed boats constantly harassing the dolphins. and people swimming/touching them. Come on guys stop paying for the speed boats and be more at nature on a kayak. We need to start loving our nature ❤️

Wonderful experience - The tour was once great! Our guide Gilles was super professional, guided us very well and also told us a lot of interesting things about the history and surroundings. We were lucky that there were really a lot of dolphins on that day and also long on the way. Gilles always mocked the dolphins great for us and since we were on the road so early we were almost the only ones around the dolphins for some time. Really a unique experience. Afterwards we paddled along the Tamarind river for a while, where we could observe some monkeys and flying dogs. It was a great tour, but it was also very informative and an unforgettable experience, especially by the guide Gilles!

Dolphin-friendly approach ⭐️ - We had a great time with Gilles!
Departure in the early morning in an absolute calm, without boats, we were the kings of the world.
I greatly appreciated Gilles’ approach. We do not chase dolphins, they come to us quietly. An attitude of great respect for marine fauna.
I recommend 1000%
We had the chance to see many dolphins!

Great guides. Respectful of dolphins. Safe, easy and fun. Better than chasing the dolphins around in a speed boat. - I had a great kayak trip with Jérémie & Olivier to see the dolphins! This felt like a respectful way to experience the dolphins. Both guides were insightful and friendly. Going out this early was great in that there weren’t too many boats and snorkelers chasing the dolphins at this hour. Would recommend!

Kajak Tour with the dolphins - We had a really nice trip with Gilles.
He really had some great tips while watching the dolphins and was very respectful to the animals. He told us also about the history of Mauritius.
I would highly recommend to do any tour with him.

Best way to see dolphins - Jérémie was a really nice guide. He speaks French and English and was very funny. We could see the dolphins in a very respectful way (as opposed to the boats around and the snorkeling people) and later on we went up the river and saw many birds.
