Well worth the hike!!! - The hike down to the waterfalls is intense. So wear proper shoes. But once you get to the falls, its well worth the hike. It was about a 45min hike down. Going back up was super intense. Those mountains are super steep. But our tour guide Diego was extremely patient and friendly with us. El Tunco beach was beautiful and there are plenty of places to eat, drink, and shop.

Excellent time - Very good excursion with Diego. The Tamanique Falls are superb and deserved, it climbs to come back but hey without being a great athlete I did And I swam there, the water is not cold. Then El Tunco, beautiful beach with warm water and waves.

A great introduction to El Salvador - This was a great first day tour of El Salvador! The locations were nice and Osmaro was a great guide, always explaining things and reccomending places when asked. He goes above and beyond and definitely deserves five stars!

Waterfall hike and the Beach - Gaby was on time for my pickup arranged less than a day before. We went to Tamanique falls after a pickup of another group at El Zonta. Very humid trip down. Good advice to dress for the heat and have water food wear for plunging into refreshing waterfall basin. Drove to Tunco beach for a two out lunch. Managed to squeeze in a short surf with a rental. About nine hours total, five hours if activity time and four hours transportation.

Best tour and tour guide in El Salvador! - Great guide! Very knowledgeable about the areas we visited and offered great recommendations for restaurants at the beach. I would definitely take another tour with him again! The areas we visited were awesome as well. A little bit of bummer that it rained during the tour but don't let that stop you from getting a tour with Josue!

Fun, Beautiful, but BE PREPARED!! - David our tour guide was great! He was on time for the pick up and was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He took great videos and pictures while we were jumping into the pools. He also took us to a delicious restaurant for lunch! **Warning** this hike is not easy! I’ve been on waterfall hikes in a few tropical countries, and this by far was the most brutal one I’ve been on. Getting down is fairly easy despite being very steep (we went in the dry season.) Getting back up will test your fitness! Nothing in the description prepared us for how strenuous this hike would be. Wear good shoes or hiking shoes, no sandals!
