Beautiful Waterfalls - Chamba was an amazing tour guide! The hike is challenging but the waterfalls are worth it. We had plenty of time at them to cool off, explore, and rest before heading back up. Definitely pack a lot of water and wear comfortable shoes. The views are beautiful and the drive up from El Tunco was short and scenic.

Beautiful waterfall, sweating hike, wonderful experience - I went to the tamanique waterfalls tour with Salva as my guide. The tour went really smooth because of all the plan Salva had done beforehand. All me and my girlfriend had to do was showing up to the meeting place, and everything else was taken care of. The trip was extra special of all the insight Salva had about the tamanique waterfalls: the history, landscape, plants. Me and my girlfriend were so focussed on the moment of being there, so we were very fortunate of him taking bunch of photos that we can enjoy. And last but not least, he brought the most delicious mangos from his garden, that helped us get fueled up on the way back!! I can only recommend this trip 😊😊

Beautiful hike - We had Chamba as our guide for 2 tours in a row and he was amazing! The hike is challenging but definitely worth it. It’s about 35 minutes each way. We had plenty of time to explore the waterfalls, swim, and rest before heading back up. It is very hot but the water cools you down a lot and you have opportunities to buy drinks, fresh juice, etc.

Tedious hike with amazing views and waters - Amazing adventure with an experience tailored to what you prefer, either swimming or jumping. The hike is a full descent from a mountain and is tedious. The path back up is entirely vertical climb with areas of sketchy footing. If you have weak knees or health concerns, I would not partake in the experience. The tour guides were incredible and very informative, we got a quick history lesson in during the walk and it was a great part of the experience. They also brought watermelon for us to snack on by the falls. The views are showstopping and the waterfalls very much feel like a magical experience. Highly recommend this group and this experience.

Great half-day excursion - This activity was soooo much fun. The hike is a LOT but if you’re fit you can do it. The water is SO refreshing once you reach the falls!!! Wear hiking shoes with a rugged sole. Going back up is wayyyyy harder than going down. Eat a good breakfast, bring snacks and plenty of cold water. Our guide Chamba was great! He kept pace with the entire group so that no one got left behind. Highly recommend!

Take the leap - Perfect 1/2 day trip. Don’t have to get up too early and you’re back just in time for dinner. Pick up was right in el tunco. The hike down to the waterfalls is a bit steep, so I do recommend hiking boots/shoes, but some in our group were able to manage without. Our guide, Chamba, was friendly and kept the hike moving pretty well. Really enjoyed jumping from the ledges. Water was cool and refreshing.

Tamanique Waterfalls - A beautiful way to spend the day! Pablo was an amazing and knowledgeable guide who made our crew feel comfortable from the moment we were picked up at the hotel all the way through the waterfalls and to the end of the hike. Swimming in the waterfalls was refreshing and so wonderfully relaxing.

Beautiful half day adventure!! Would highly recommended! - Beautiful way to spend half a day while visiting El Zonte! Easy to book and very responsive, even in their busy season. Our guide, Pablo was so kind and very informative. The hike was steep at points, but with railing, was no issue at all and you are rewarded with the most beautiful and refreshing swim under and around several beautiful falls and pools. My family and I loved jumping into the pools. Would highly recommend!
