- Mole National Park - Day 2. This morning, your tour guide will lead you on a walking safari from 7:30 am to 9:30 am. Accompanied by a knowledgeable ranger, explore the park in search of wildlife, including various bird species, antelopes, kobs, elephants, baboons, warthogs, buffalos, monkeys, and crocodiles. The morning is ideal for a walking safari due to the cool weather, allowing for a peaceful encounter with wildlife.
At Mognori Eco Village, experience the traditional lifestyle, stunning natural beauty, and warm hospitality of the local community. Enjoy a canoe safari on the tranquil Mole River, spotting exotic birds, fish, Nile lizards, and aquatic life. Visit the herbalist and participate in hands-on shea butter-making.

Wechiau Community Hippo Sanctuary - Day 3. Embark on an exciting full-day adventure to the Wechiau Hippo Sanctuary. Depart early and drive through scenic landscapes to the sanctuary in three hours, where a guided tour awaits. Observe majestic hippos in their natural habitat, along with various birds, while enjoying the serene waters of the Black Volta, which borders Ghana and Burkina Faso. Enjoy a packed breakfast amidst the tranquil surroundings. On the return journey, stop in Sawla to sample local flavors such as Pito (traditional beer) and ‘Koose’, cheese made from cow milk.
