Amazing Experience! - This was an amazing experience! Gabby was one of our guides, and she was great! She was so knowledgeable and encouraging. We were able to mush our own team and she gave us the perfect pointers to have a successful, memorable time! Flying through the woods with the fresh-fallen snow with these dogs was an once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Fabulous adventure - My fiancée and I did the winter tour with a group and it was simply wonderful. Abbie answered all our questions with patience and enthusiasm. The mushing was amazing - no experience needed! The dogs were all social and friendly. 10/10!!

Great experience - The crew and dogs did an outstanding job to make this an enjoyable experience. Cooper and Jess were friendly and knowledgeable. It was interesting to learn more about the Iditarod and especially these pups. The sled ride itself was great. Not too difficult, but you had to pay attention lol.

Bucket list - A quite ride through the woods. Cost was reasonable. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgable. Picked us up at the hotel, was about 4 hours total, 1 hour on the trail. They give you a lesson on the basics and you can drive your own team or they will drive for you. You just follow the team in front of you. Not hard at all, the dogs do all the work. Do come prepared for the cold zero degrees Fahrenheit. They have very limited extra cold weather gear . Two other couples joined us 2 people per sled with 5 dogs each. Cate was our lead musher, she was great. To ride all you really have to do is get there, but to drive you need to stand 30 minutes to an hour if you don’t trade out drivers.

A MUST do! - From booking, to pick up and experiencing the magic, this is hands down one of the best travel experiences I have ever had. I booked last minute and was able to chat via text day of to make sure everything was set up. Then Holly picked me up (and the small group booked at the same time) and took us to the site. The drive was filled with trivia and history. Once we arrived we got to meet over 150 dogs, including champions from various Iditarod races, puppies, retired champs… and even some Reindeer! Chole helped me run my team and was such a peach to work with. She made me feel comfortable and confident to drive the sled and took some great pics of me with the dogs. Between her and Holly I left knowing 150% more about dogs, mushing, and the Iditarod AND full of love from cuddling all the dogs. I truly cannot recommend this experience enough. I will be back and brining my friends on our next visit to AK!
