Pull into the 2nd driveway on the right at The Reindeer Grove and park as close to the front door of the cabin as possible. You may need to use the overflow parking down the hill just a bit. Help yourself inside the cabin and your experience will start there.

Fun adventure - This was a fun adventure! We got to go in the pen with the momma reindeer and several baby reindeer. The guide was really informative about the reindeer. Was a great experience.

Worth it! - Perfect short tour and opportunity to meet some cute furry creatures. We had a little one with us and she loved it. Cute pictures and learned a lot.

Great side trip - The staff were friendly and answered all of our questions, and we had a lot! They were clear with expectations and we had a great time learning about the animals, feeding them and interacting with the ones who would allow it.

We were very very pleased... - We were very very pleased at getting to meet all the reindeer and feed the mommas and babies. They let us meet the dad and learn all about how they are raised and how they survive the winters and how they cool off by dipping hooves in water bowls in the summer. We loved getting to be up close and personal with the beautiful animals. They also had two lovely dogs whom were very very friendly. The cabin had drinks and a small shop in it, where we were checked out by the best four year old little man around. He was the cutest salesman we have ever met. We highly recommend this experience to anyone who would like to learn more about raising reindeer’s or just want to pet and fed some for good photos this is the place for it!!!! Our three teenagers were very happy the whole time and any mother out there knows how hard it is to have three teens stay entertained!

Reindeer special - Very interesting. Owner/ tour guide was very knowledgable all things reindeer. Feeding and petting the reindeer was cool.

Sign up for this. - Great and personal experience with Graham. He was funny, knowledgeable, and answered all questions. Definitely something for folks of all ages. Plus the dogs were cool too.

Great tour. - Great tour. Well worth it. We got to learn some interesting facts about reindeer as well as interact with and feed them. Sign up for this tour. You won’t be disappointed. Graham was a great host.

Some days the reindeer... - Some days the reindeer are friendly, sometimes more stand-offish - like most animals! Owner has 2 delightfully friendly dogs and the gathering cabin is gorgeous, very informative host!

Very Underwhelming - We went at the end of the day and found the reindeer were tired and by this time seemingly sick of the grain we were given to feed them. The bugs were brutal, and it was hard to watch the male reindeer constantly and violently twitch and stomp in an effort to get them off of him. I've had horses and a little spray on the coat would have put him in a much more comfortable position. We thought we'd be taking the reindeer for a walk along the wooded path but big guy was not having it. Understandably but disappointing. Instead we walked the path with a very pleasant girl who pointed out many plants along the way. Not exactly what we came for however. I probably would not recommend this. We felt this whole experience was very underwhelming for the price which was $75/each, not the $30 pp as advertised. They were trying hard though.
