- The Ruins - Often referred to as the “Taj Mahal” of Negros, this is the ancestral mansion of the affluent sugar baron Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson. It was constructed on a 440-hectare sugar plantation in Talisay City, Negros Occidental, in the early 1900s, in honor of his Portuguese wife, Maria Braga Lacson, who passed away during the birth of their eleventh child. During World War II, Filipino guerillas set it ablaze to prevent the Japanese forces from using it as a military office.
- Balay Negrense Museum - Also known as the Victor Fernandez Gaston Ancestral House, this museum in Silay City, Negros Occidental, Philippines, showcases the lifestyle of a late 19th-century Negrense sugar baron. It holds the distinction of being the first museum established in the province of Negros Occidental.
- Campuestohan Highland Resort - Enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool, stroll through the gardens, have fun in the playground, and simply relax. For those seeking adventure, try horseback riding or experience the thrill of a 340-meter zipline. Everything desired can be found at Campuestohan Highland Resort, with its unmatched panoramic views and stunning beauty.
- Cinco de Noviembre Memorial - The Cinco De Noviembre marker, or Farmacia Locsin, was owned by Don Leonardo de la Rama Locsin and served as a secret collection point for donations supporting the Negros revolution. Instead of listing donor names and amounts, he recorded them as medicine names, with grams representing the donation amounts. This event showcased the Negrenses’ cleverness in deceiving the Spaniards while establishing a functioning government at a street corner.
- Capitol Lagoon Park - Located in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines, the Capitol Park and Lagoon is a provincial park featuring sculptures of a woman with a water buffalo and a man pulling another water buffalo. These sculptures, located at the lagoon’s northern and southern ends, were created by Italian sculptor Francesco Riccardo Monti, who also worked on the Metropolitan Manila Theater and the University of the Philippines - Visayas Iloilo campus. Guillermo Tolentino also contributed as a sculptor of the figures.
- San Diego Pro-Cathedral - Formerly known as the San Diego Parish Church or St. Didacus Parish Church before its designation as a pro-cathedral in 1994, this early 20th-century church in Silay City, Negros Occidental, Philippines, is the only pro-cathedral outside Manila. It is unique in Negros Occidental for being the only church in the province with a cupola or dome. The ruins of the older church, built in 1841, can be found behind it.
- San Sebastian Cathedral - Commonly known as Bacolod Cathedral, the San Sebastian Cathedral is the most renowned religious and historical landmark in Bacolod province.
- Pope John Paul II Tower - This seven-story building is dedicated to the late Pope John Paul II, who visited Bacolod City on February 20, 1981. It was a significant and joyous occasion for the people of Bacolod City, as they were blessed by his visit. The Pope John Paul II Tower serves as a pilgrimage center, embodying and perpetuating the ideas, life, advocacies, commitment, and holiness of Pope John Paul II, a fervent promoter of the culture of life and love.
- Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol - In 1926, Governor Jose Locsin decided to construct a provincial capitol building that reflected the province’s status as the wealthiest at the time, thanks to the thriving sugar industry. The works of National Artist for Sculpture Guillermo Tolentino are displayed in the capitol building and the lagoon in front of it.
