Extremely accommodating and so fun! - The best decision we made in Bangkok! Our guide was so friendly and informative and the stops were excellent. She even made sure that my wife, who has a gluten allergy, had options at each stop- and she even checked before we embarked to see what food restrictions people had if any. We felt very comfortable and taken care of. Definitely arrive hungry- a lot of people struggled to finish all the food! It was great way to see some different neighborhoods too.

MUST TAKE TOUR for foodies in Bangkok!!! - If you are a foodie going to Bangkok then you need to take this tour! Our guide Tito was amazing, hilarious, and took us to so many different Michelin rated stalls as well as some of his other favorite places which weren’t even on the itinerary. Our tuk tuk driver was also great and we loved driving through Bangkok’s Chinatown and taking pictures of Yaowarat Rd during the ride. If you’ve ever been to Bangkok’s Chinatown before (which I have) you can be easily overwhelmed by the crowds, lines, and amount of food choices. Tito took us to the best places and waited in all the lines for us which made it such a great experience. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent Experience, Food, and Guide!! - We had SO much fun with our guide Piano experiencing the best street food in Bangkok! She took us to many great spots and did an excellent job explaining the foods and the area. We were also able to ask her questions about Thai culture, Buddhism, and her own experiences in Thailand which enhanced the experience. We would definitely do this tour again!

Nice, but could be more relaxed - De tour was nice, but I believe overrated for the quality of the food you get. Additionally, we all had the feeling that it was rushed, from one place to the other. The guid was counting the meal you get, but you can skip one and make it a bit more relaxed. The tuktuk bringing you everywhere was well arranged

Great exposure to Chinese food in Thailand - Henry was a great guide and has extensive knowledge about the food in Bangkok's Chinatown. The food was excellent and getting around by Tuk tun through Bangkok's crowded streets was a joy. If you are looking for a taste of Chinese food in BKK this is a great way to get it. If you are looking for Thai cuisine you might choose another tour.

Misleading Title and Disappointing Experience - Unfortunately, this tour did not meet expectations and felt quite misleading based on the description.
First of all, the name of the tour – “Bangkok: Michelin Guide Street Food Tour by Tuk Tuk” – is inaccurate. There was no tuk tuk ride involved for the majority of the tour. Instead, it was primarily a walking tour through Chinatown. If the tour had been described more honestly, we might have chosen differently.
One of the key points advertised – that we would visit Michelin-recommended street food stalls and hear about their history and signature dishes – was simply not delivered. There were no stories about the stalls, no mention of their background, and certainly no deeper cultural insights. It was basically just being led from one spot to another with very minimal context.
At the noodle shop, we had to stand on the street for quite some time while our guide waited in a long queue to get us seats. It would have been reasonable to expect a reservation or some preparation given the price of the tour.
The second stop was a fried Chinese-style donut (Pa Tong Go). While it was crispy and sweet, it was also quite heavy – not the kind of thing you want to eat at the beginning of a food tour. It would have made much more sense as a dessert stop toward the end of the tour. I understand this might have required a backtrack or route adjustment, but the current placement disrupted the flow of the tasting experience and left us less eager to fully enjoy the later savory dishes.
The final stop was supposed to be the iconic Jay Fai, the only street food vendor in Thailand with a Michelin star. However, we were driven past the closed restaurant with no commentary other than being told the chef is famous. This felt like a missed opportunity to add something meaningful to the experience.
We tasted four dishes in total – one of which we ate standing on the street in front of a small kiosk. There was little to no explanation accompanying the food, and overall the experience lacked structure and depth. The price was significantly higher than what was delivered.
Another issue was that we were a group of eight, and the guide spoke without any microphone or system that allowed us all to hear while walking through noisy streets. As a result, we missed most of what little information was shared.
On a positive note, the guide was friendly and made sure we were driven back to the starting point, which was farther than the advertised drop-off location – a small but appreciated gesture.
In summary, this tour lacked the Michelin-level insight and experience it advertised, and felt more like a simple, overpriced stroll through Chinatown with a few quick snacks.
