Great experience. - We had Junpei pick us up from hotel in Takayama and drive us to Kanazawa with a stop at Shirakawago. He was a pleasure to be with; great driver and very knowledgeable about the area. Prompt arrival and very comfortable vehicle, the experience was above our expectations.

Best way to travel between Takayama and Kanazawa - We had a wonderful day with our guide and driver Yuka with door to door service from Takayama to Kanazawa. She was knowledgeable and showed us all around Shirakawa go village in the mountains on our way. It made our transfer easy and allowed us to see a world heritage site which is well worth the stop. Kanazawa tours suggested an early 8 am pickup which was the right call as we beat the big buses to the mountain village. By the time we left, it was very busy. If you want an easy way to get between these two cities, I highly recommend Kanazawa tours and Yuka as your guide.

A snowy wonderful memory! - I don't know how to describe this memorable experience. The car was very comfortable. The guide "Ku" was super friendly and provided a plethora or knowledge. I highly recommend this tour and especially make sure you get "Ku" as your guide! "Sweet danshi"

Highly recommend, excellent guide Sachiko! - Sachiko took us on a lovely walk through Shirakawago, a charming village and UNESCO site. She is very knowledgable about the area, its history and unique centuries-old thatched roof homes. We ended the walk with lunch at a tasty local restaurant and treated Sachiko and our driver with pleasure. We really enjoyed the tour and highly recommend Sachiko and Kanazawa Walking Tours!

Takayama to Kanazawa via Shirakawago, Suganuma and Ainokura - We (family of 4) had a wonderful, well organized tour with Kumiko, with plenty of detailed information about the villages we visited and about the life of the people in this region. Kumiko aldo kindly gave us answers to many questions about Japan in general. I strongly recommend to add two extra hours and visit Suganuma and Ainokura, they are much smaller, but much nicer

Fantastic! - Take this tour! Wow, what an incredible day spent with Yuta! He is so fantastic and we loved everything about the experience. He is so personable, knowledgeable, and charming. Shirakawago is absolutely breathtaking and Yuta offered so much valuable insight. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

Yuta was incredible! His... - Yuta was incredible! His knowledge of English was wonderful. Very safe driver. The tour of Shirakawa village was very informative. He knows his way around and what to do.

Very good, charming and helpful guide - Our guide Kumiko was wonderful, very helpful, charming, and funny (we loved the little hand puppet panda and the little jumping paper frogs she folded for us sur place). She was also flexible in meeting our wishes and organising an impromptu lunch in a nice small restaurant on the road from Shirakawa-go to Kanazawa, and accompanied us right to the hotel reception to drop us off there. We can only recommend her!
