• Yangmingshan National Park - On Sep 16. 1985, Yangmingshan National Park was formally established, which includes Yangmingshan and volcano groups, which takes Datun Mountain and Qixing Mountain as a center. Yangmingshan is famous for its four flower seasons: calla lily, cherry blossom, Hydrangea, and bamboo. This park also has diverse recreational facilities of hiking trails and wildlife like black pines, acacia trees, and the Formosan sweet gum. Because of the influence of volcanic activity, the ground surrounding the sulfur vents and hot springs was formed, making it unique and magnificent. There is Macao hot spring here. Because of sulfur mining, it is a fumaroles spring with smoke.

• Yangmingshan National Park is situated north of Beitou and is the only park in Taiwan featuring volcanic landscapes and hot springs.

• Qingtiangang, a park located on a mountain-top flatland, offers stunning views of Yangmingshan National Park. It was designated by Japanese colonial rulers as the site of the Dalingzhi Ranch for tea cultivation and cattle herding.

• The name Bamboo Lake (Zhuzihu) originates from 200 years ago when the Han people first settled in the area and began cultivating the land, which was then covered by muddy bamboo forests.

• From March to May, Zhuzihu is renowned for its fields of white calla lily flowers. After the calla lily season ends in late May, hydrangeas bloom beautifully.

• At lunchtime, guests can enjoy the highly recommended “Wild Herb Potherb Cuisine,” which includes wild vegetables and free-range chickens.
