Great tour with Yu - I had a good time with Yu! I got alone so i got a private tour, but Yu told me a lot about Japanese history and culture. She also was flexibel with the schedule, i was less hungry than expected due to the jet lag, so she showed me some other stores and the neigbourhood which was super fun!

Local Japan Foody Tour - My guide was Kana and she was exceptional! I was having trouble finding the meeting location and she gave me advice and it was helpful. The first stop had some of the most amazing sushi. The seats were perfect also since we could watch them closely make the sushi to perfection. I enjoyed this place because they also added wasabi on the sushi as they made them. Next stop was a Gyoza shop which I was looking forward to. It was tasty and they also had great drinks. The third stop was for small bites of chicken thighs, meatballs, and pork belly all on skewers. Also, had some of the best sake and some shishito peppers. Lastly we visited a very small ramen shop. Yummy. Overall a great experience and highly recommend.

We wandered through hidden backstreets and local markets we would never have found on our own. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting an authentic (and very tasty!) experience in Ueno.

Wonderful Ueno food tour - Nana was soooooo fun! She taught us lots of things and took us to wonderful places for food. She made the tour interesting, delicious, and easy going. I’ve done a lot of food tours in different countries and this was the best one. I wasn’t stuffed after, but I was extremely content and full. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone. Again cannot stress enough how special Nana was. Learning about her was what made the tour extra memorable.
