Tea ceremony - Amazing experience. The store is super organized, has beautiful clothes. Our match ceremony was with Mia, who explained everything to us in the smallest detail.

Definitely Worth It - The experience was authentic. We learned about Cha Do and how to make and serve Matcha tea. It was fun to try out making matcha, and drinking it too. Wearing the traditional Japanese kimono, while learning about the tea ceremony made for a pleasant immersive experience. Definitely worth it.

Informative, but Lacking Atmosphere and Value for the Price - I booked a private tea ceremony for 2, and they delivered on everything they advertised as. However, as an experience that cost 72,000 yen / US$462, we were left rather disappointed. The ceremony itself was informative and well explained, but done in a room lit by florescent lighting in what felt like an office cubicle with minimal decorations. There is no music or vibe, just the sound of other ceremonies happening in other rooms. They have specific areas to take photos that are designed to look good in photos, but the rest of the space feels empty and soulless. The rooftop grounds where they take you afterwards for photos has a little garden that looks good in pictures too but the roof itself is rather ugly and makes the garden feel like an afterthought. Once the ceremony was done, and we had our photos taken at their specific photo places, we were then pressured into writing a review for them while they watched.
