SOBAGIRI 楽常=Soba Making Space= - This workshop introduces a fresh and innovative concept.
Our establishment welcomes both international visitors and Japanese patrons, allowing you to enjoy the workshop alongside local participants.
Utilizing top-tier wheat flour from Hokkaido and Tokyo’s pristine tap water, participants will master a patented technique to craft chewy, smooth noodles in just 30 minutes—entirely by hand, without any electricity.
Each participant is provided with a table to create their own portion of noodles, with a maximum of six participants per session.
There is one instructor. As many Japanese guests attend, the instruction is primarily in Japanese, but translation devices (English, French, German, Korean, etc.) are available for assistance.
Your handmade noodles will be complemented by a special soup prepared by the instructor. If interested, the instructor might even share the basic concept of the soup recipe. With premium Japanese ingredients and days of aging, recreating this flavor will depend on your enthusiasm.
Make a reservation and join the experience—it promises to be a highlight of your visit to Tokyo, and even Japan.

SOBAGIRI-RAKUJYO is an activity shop where visitors can experience making ramen noodles, a popular Japanese food, in an authentic way.
Unlike cheap cooking experiences that merely combine commercial products, this experience is unique to Kappabashi, the town of kitchen knives, and uses a large kitchen knife specially designed for noodle making to try your hand at thinly slicing noodles without using any machinery, applying the soba-soba slicing technique that has been used since the Edo period.

RAKUJYO offers both ramen and soba, so even if there is someone in your group who does not like wheat flour, you can switch to a soba making experience using 100% buckwheat flour.
Come on, enjoy this noodle-making experience that everyone from children to adults can enjoy! BOOK NOW!
