Wonderful private our of Tokyo - We booked an 8-hour private tour in Tokyo with a driver since we only had part of one day off our cruise ship. When we disembarked, we quickly found our guide, Kaz, holding a sign with our name. He warmly introduced himself and escorted us to our car. Our first stop was Shibuya Crossing, which was absolutely incredible—crowds of people crossing in every direction at once. Next, we visited the Hachikō Statue, where we took photos and learned about the touching story behind this beloved symbol of loyalty and popular meeting spot. We then made our way to Meiji Shrine, a peaceful and beautiful place. After that, we visited Sensō-ji Hōzōmon Gate, where Kaz explained the traditional rituals of offering, bowing, clapping, and praying. For dinner, we mentioned we were craving noodles, and Kaz took us to a local spot where we enjoyed some of the most delicious soba noodles with tempura prawns—absolutely fantastic. Throughout the day, Kaz was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing history and answering all of our questions. Even though it rained the entire time, we made the most of it and had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this tour and would absolutely book again if we return to Japan.

Tokyo Full Day Excursion - You can book the "Tokyo Full Day Tour with Licensed Tour Guide and Vehicle from Yokohama" with confidence. The guide, Atsushi Kayukawa, is licensed with the Japan Travel Agency and was extremely knowledgeable, confident, proud and friendly, always willing to assist with any requests whilst on tour. Atsushi-san was friendly at all times and spoke English very fluently. The vehicle was a 7 seater mini van in very good condition and although the driver had limited English ability, he knew his way around Tokyo very well and even took us back to Yokohama via a different route to show us more of Tokyo and its surrounds. We were chuffed to have a full view of Mt Fuji in the distance, a special achievement for our group of 6. Our lunch in the Nezu area at a very small traditional local noodle bar was delicious and much enjoyed by all.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 — Outstanding Tour with Michio and Nobuhiko! - We had an amazing day exploring Tokyo with Michio as our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, providing great historical background on each site and using his personal tablet to visually enhance our understanding. His English was excellent, and he clearly explained the cultural differences between temples and shrines, making the experience even more meaningful. Our driver, Nobuhiko, was equally impressive—always finding safe and convenient drop-off and pick-up points close to each attraction. Together, they made the day flow seamlessly. Michio thoughtfully adjusted our itinerary to avoid traffic and kindly delayed our lunch at our request to miss the noon rush. Every detail was handled with care and professionalism. Highly recommend Michio and Nobuhiko for anyone looking for a well-organized, informative, and enjoyable tour in Tokyo!

Discover modern Tokyo - The guide was excellent at explaining modern Tokyo as well as the historical and religious roots that lead Japan there. He answered all the questions we had and fulfilled a few personnal requests like walking down on Shibuya Crossing and go see Hachi statue. The Driver was very skillful and timely to get us back in the car on our back from visiting a specific site.

Tokyo in one day is possible - A perfect compilation of Tokyo sights. Not cheap, but inexpensive, because you give everything important to see in a short time and have a personal guide and driver.

A taste of Tokyo in one day - Fully customised for our family - The tour was fully customised and our fabulous guide Fumiko was in touch with us in advance of the tour to ensure the itinerary was planned in accordance with what we wanted to see. One day in Tokyo was not enough however we did see so very much and got a taste of this amazing city. Fumiko was extremely organised and kept us on schedule throughout the day despite the hot weather and crazy traffic. Our family of 5 consisted of 2 mature adults and 3 young adults aged 18, 25 and 28. It was great getting picked up from the port post our cruise and then dropped to the airport post the tour, knowing our luggage was secure in the minivan the entire day. Highly recommend this tour.
