Fantastic night in Ueno - This was an EXCELLENT tour! Highly recommend. Our guides, Riko and Taku, were very knowledgeable and friendly. Our night was so entertaining, it felt like going out with friends. It was just me, my husband, and our two guides, but it did not feel awkward at all. The tour stopped at four local places that my husband and I would have never found on our own (fish; skewers; a bar; ramen). The alcohol that was included was plentiful. I’m so glad we had this opportunity and highly recommend to anyone in search of a good tour!

Brilliant foodie tour of Ueno! - Really great tour for foodies! We walked around visited places we would never hand found - fantastic food/drinks (and SO much of it!!) - we had a great night and even re visited one of the restaurants again a few days later.

Great meal experience in Tokyo - This was a great experience in Japan! Both of my hosts were very friendly and took me to good places to eat and drink. I recommend this experience! It allows a visitor to immediately experience Tokyo culture

Great gastronomic tour - LYU and Mori were very friendly and attentive, took to various locations and gave a toast. This day only I had, so it was a private tour, but they were very professional and introduced a bit of Japanese gastronomy.

Amazing night - This was an amazing experience my first night in Tokyo and my birthday Lyu was a great guide explaining all the food well and what the different places were called and the food to expect. Tori ordered amazing food, so I got to try food I probably would not have tried all delicious not sure I would eat the fishy again. The eyes kept looking at me 😂
Beer cold and nice, not sure about the saki had a little but decided not to drink the whole drink. I did like the Japanese whiskey with sparkling water yum.
A special treat we had a Japanese shortcake with strawberries to celebrate my birthday. Thank you for making me feel special

10/10 would recommend - My wife and I had an amazing time on this tour!
Mori and Lyu were excellent hosts. Food and drinks at each location were delicious. This tour was a great way to introduce ourselves to the Ueno area and the different restaurant types we can seek out on the rest of our trip

Best time in Ueno according to my 14 year old! - My 14 year son and I went on this tour together. He said it was the highlight of our Japan trip because of the company, both the tour guides and other fellow tourist. The food and drink were great. Our guides went out of their way to get my son non-alcoholic drinks and make him feel engaged!

Japanese Food Experience Tour in Ueno - Mori and Lyu are the right guides to lead visitors through the bewildering choice of local Japanese cuisine. Naturally, they're both knowledgeable but that's to be expected. What I most appreciated is how they let the evening evolve without overwhelming me with information. Instead, they shared just enough about each dish but also let the food tell the story. At the same time, they answered all my questions but in a friendly conversational manner.
Nowadays, the tendency is to do our own online reserch and seek experiences without a guide. That approach definitely has merit. On the other hand, when you find the right guides, the food experience also becomes a chance to interact with not only the local cuisine but also local people. Worth noting, too, is that the four restaurants Mori and Lyu chose to take me were full of local people, not tourists.

Great food and drink tour with a local guide - The food was fantastic. Great choice and good variety of food. Loved the sashimi at the beginning and Ramen at the end. Drinks were all very nice too. Loved the stand up bar. We were all happy at the end. Wonderful and friendly tour guides
