What an unforgettable experience we had during our mountain bike tour in the mountains near Taghazout, Morocco! Saïd, our fantastic guide, took us by minibus to the highest point in the area at about 1100 meters elevation. Even the ride in the minibus was an adventure in itself!
From there, we began a spectacular off-road downhill journey of no less than 42 km through the beautiful Moroccan landscape. The breathtaking scenery along the way was absolutely the highlight - you see Morocco in a way you'll never forget.
Saïd is a friendly and skilled guide who knows the route perfectly. A major plus was that he took photos and videos during the ride, so we could fully concentrate on enjoying the surroundings and the cycling. These images are a wonderful memory of this special day.
After the long, adventurous descent, we said goodbye to Saïd and enjoyed a well-deserved lunch. It was a perfect end to an incredible day in the Moroccan countryside.
If you're in the Taghazout area and love adventure, this mountain biking experience is an absolute must. You not only get a great sporting challenge but also a unique opportunity to discover the beautiful landscapes of Morocco in a way you won't soon forget.
