Exceptional experience! - I had an incredible day today, the best day I have had since I arrived here in the Philippines 3 weeks ago thanks to Go Panglao Travels and tours. I booked the Chocolate hills , Tarsiers sanctuary tour with them online through Trip Advisor which is a very popular tour here on Panglao Island in Bohol. The tour’s itinirairy included stops at Bohol National museum , the Blood compact monument,Baclayan church ( one of the oldest churches in the Philippines.), the Philippines Tarsiers and wildlife sanctuary(Tarsiers are brown eyed mini monkeys - if you scare them they get a heart attack and die. they are the world’s smallest primate) the optional Loboc River cruise with lunch( Admission is NOT included )the Chocolat hills with an optional activity of ATV and the man made Mahogany forest. This was a full day tour which included pick up at your hotel at 8 am and although the tour indicated 6-8 hours, we returned at 7pm. René was our driver, a kind gentle man who just like many Filipinos I have met was the nicest person ever! Our group was small, only 3 other people aside from myself. As it had rained the previous days, we switched the order of the activities so we don’t end up getting rained on by doing the outdoor activities. We all agreed to do the Museum and churches in the end, René’s job was not so much of a guide but a driver who took us to the attraction, got out tickets and picked us up onvevthe activity was done. He was punctual, not to mention an excellent driver. He did not try to speed up or do any type of illegal manoeuvres in order to get us places which I appreciated very much. Traffic can get crazy at sometimes of the day on Palao Island, but he was an excellent defensive driver who got us to our destination safely and comfortably. The car was air-conditioned and it was very well kept as it was impeccably clean. Our first stop was the Tarsiers wildlife sanctuary, which was mind blowing. The sanctuary has voluntary guides who even take pictures for you. Without these guides, I would not be able to spot these little creatures. They were adorable. We went onto the chocolate Hills. My only complaint was that most of the people in my group did the additional activities while I omitted the ATV and the boat tour. This was a very negative thing for me because while they did the ATV tour, I waited two hours for them and while they did the river lunch tour I also waited two hours for them, so there was a lot of waiting for me during the day. I was prepared to wait. I just didn’t expect it to be two hours. So if you are not doing the additional activities with this particular tour company, keep that in mind. Because I had too many dietary restrictions and allergies I opted out of the lunch buffet, but René was so sweet and dropped me off at a coffee shop so I enjoyed my time there relaxing. There were plenty of opportunities to purchase souvenirs as well. During the whole time we were driving around we got a chance to see the entire area of Bohol. I was stunned at how beautiful the island was. Tagbiliran city looked incredibly vibrant and lively especially around the Jose Rizal Plaza , where we stopped to visit the national Museum. The national Museum was a wonderful experience as well. The perfect way to end the day. We had a lovely young man who was a student and guided us through the museum, explaining so many things in relation to the history of the Philippines and in particular of this island. Learning about how historical artefacts were restored after the 2013 earthquake was fascinating. Once the day was over, I was absolutely thrilled, and did not expect this tour to be so wonderful. Thank you, Pago Panglao Travel and Tours, forgetting this lonely, solo traveller such a wonderful rich experience and thank you Renee for being so patient and kind to me. To all of you out here reading this, I urge you to book with this company. They will take good care of you and show you the time of your life.

Superb! - Kuya Jestoni was absolutely amazing! We booked a private tour, and he took great care of us from start to finish. Everything was well-organized, smooth, and stress-free. It was the perfect mix of chill and fun — a truly memorable adventure in Bohol. Kuya Jestoni went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. His friendliness and local knowledge made the experience even better. Ending the day with the ATV ride was a fantastic touch and such a fun way to wrap up the tour. Highly, highly recommend Kuya Jestoni if you want a great Bohol experience!

Fabulous day in Bohol! - We had a great time with our driver Ricky. Super cute and always on the lookout for us. Obviously we knew the tour was without a guide, but it was our decision and we had no regrets. Despite the language barrier, we had a great time. On the river tour we checked in spontaneously and it was our Highlight, along with the Tarsians. Thank you so much for everything!! Thank you for feeling welcome on the island of Bohol:)

Chaotic - Unfortunately it took the driver a chaotic 1 1/2 uur to collect 3 people? Having others wait for more then 1 1/2 hour. Tried communication about when i should be going to the road were unanswered. Communication in English was hardly possible. Then we were driven at very high speed from site to site. To make up for lost time. Nervous, chaotic, rushed driving style.

A lot to improve - Only worth it as a method of transportation between the attractions, there's no guide, the driver will pretend to be the guide, zero information about the sites, had look up at the internet 🛜.
