An excellent day out to the Douro Valley - Our driver was very knowledgeable of the area and made some great recommendations for wineries in the Douro Valley. He was very friendly and accommodating and his level of English was brilliant!

Super tour with a very knowledgeable guide. - We left for Douro Valley. We were taken to a fantastic vineyard for lunch. Pachega - super food. We were shown a lot of villages and small touristy places along the way. Highly recommended.

Best Douro Valley Full Day Private Tour - Wonderful full day tour of the Douro Valley with Joao who shared interesting facts about the area and Portugal. We especially loved the trivia during the drive. The wine and olive oil tour and tasting were interesting and the views from the tasting area were spectacular. We also loved the traditional Portuguese lunch at a local restaurant that was not filled with other tourists. We also enjoyed seeing a different perspective of the valley on a boat cruise. Meridian4peopke were easy to communicate with pre-tour and everyone in our group loved our tour of the beautiful Douro Valley. This tour company is very professional and highly recommend them. Superb Douro Valley tour! - This experience was smooth and effortless fir us as the clients as our fluent, English-speaking guide, Chris, was engaging, knowledgeable, and organised. Chris has travelled the world in hospitality roles and connected quickly with us as guests from very different world locations. The tour itinerary was well-timed, scenic opportunities for photos of the beautiful Douro Valley and river. Vineyards visited were welcoming, historic, and focussed on telling their journey on wines/ports. Lunch stop was a surprise with a 3 course meal of local dishes, fresh produce, and wine. The 1 hour boat trip on the river was an excellent way to view the huge vineyards, olive groves and centuries old terracing. The final stop before returning to Porto was an elevated vineyard and olive oil tasting. The view was breathtaking!!!!Highly recommend this trip

Amazing day tour of the Douro Region - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the most incredible day exploring the Douro Valley with our guides, Chris and Philipe. From start to finish, the entire experience was unforgettable. The journey from Porto was filled with fascinating stories and insights about the region, making the drive itself feel like part of the adventure. Our first stop was a stunning church, full of old-world charm with breathtaking sculptures, ceilings, and architecture. From there, we visited the Sandeman Port facility, where we enjoyed a wonderful tour and finished with tastings of their outstanding ports. Lunch in a quaint town was another highlight—the food was bursting with flavor and truly memorable. Afterward, we boarded a boat for a cruise along the Douro River, surrounded by the most spectacular vineyard views on both sides. The day ended perfectly at Red and White Wines, where we relaxed on a veranda overlooking the valley while sampling three exceptional wines. Our guide even took us through the old olive oil facility, showing us the traditional methods used in years past—a real treat to see. This tour was such a special experience for both of us. We cannot recommend it highly enough, especially with Chris or Philipe as your guides. Their knowledge, friendliness, and passion for the region truly made the day unforgettable.

Great full day tour of the wine country - Ana was a fantastic tour guide, she showed me all of the valley. It was a beautiful trip, very knowledgeable about wine and the history of Portugal.

Porto to Douro Valley Wine Tour - Highly recommend. This tour was exceptional and what made it even better was our tour guide and driver Lawrence. Lawrence arrived right on time at our hotel in Porto and transported us on a beautiful journey through the Douro Valley, explaining the rich history of different vineyards and history of the region throughout our tour. Our first stop was a small vineyard and wine maker where we enjoyed an excellent wine/port tasting. Following that, Lawrence took us to a very local lunch that we enjoyed very much. From there we got dropped off at our hotel in the Douro and said our goodbyes to our new friend.
