Embracing the Serenity of Tabanan’s Indoor Retreats
As the rain gently taps on the windows of your luxurious Balinese retreat, the allure of Tabanan’s indoor cultural and culinary experiences beckons. This weekend, the weather may be overcast, but the warmth of Balinese hospitality and the richness of its culture offer a radiant escape. Begin your journey with the Bedugul and Singaraja Tour(https://www.example.com), available from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM. This tour takes you through the tranquil rural countryside of Bali, where the lush landscapes and serene mountain resorts provide a refreshing contrast to the bustling south.
The tour offers a unique opportunity to explore the enchanting mountain resort of Bedugul, nestled at an elevation of 850 meters above sea level. Here, the serene Lake Beratan fills the ancient crater of Mount Batukaru, and the local populace pays tribute to the lake goddess at a sacred temple. As you wander through the lush tropical rainforest, the stunning Gitgit waterfall awaits, offering a moment of tranquility amidst nature’s grandeur. A review from April 2023 captures the essence of this experience:
A tour through Bali from south to north with many stops and sights - This was a very good tour for visiting north of Bali from Sanur with lots of stops on the way. We had a driver and a guide with us. Unfortunately, we had not so nice weather with rainstorm and thunder. This was at the end of March. We would have hoped to have some kind of timetable to know how much time we had in different places. Tourist doesn’t know the distances and traffic, so it would have been nice to see all the places that were scheduled and some kind of timetable in each place. I think we ran out of time at the end because we skipped the town of Singaraja and just drove through it. Overall a very good chance to get to see Bali and learn Balinese culture, manners, religion, and beliefs. (Reviewed at: 2023-04-17)

As the rain continues to fall, indulge in the culinary delights that Tabanan has to offer. The region is renowned for its rich flavors and traditional Balinese cuisine, which can be savored in the comfort of your indoor retreat. This tour provides an excellent introduction for first-time visitors, offering a personalized experience with native guides who share their knowledge and passion for Bali.
The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary is a highlight of this tour, where you can explore a tropical rainforest teeming with life. More than 700 monkeys inhabit this sanctuary, and the presence of three temples adds a spiritual dimension to your visit. A recent review from July 2024 highlights the exceptional service provided by the guides:
Such a wonderful day - It was an absolutely fantastic day. Together we made a great itinerary. Our driver Wayan was the best we could wish to! He was very informative, he knew all the best places and he was sooo nice… If we would stay some more days we would surely book him for all days. Recommend!!! (Reviewed at: 2024-07-23)
