Best tour of our trip!!!! - If you’re visiting Syracuse, do yourself a favor and book Giuseppe. Out of five cities and multiple tour guides on our trip, he was hands down the best and it wasn’t even close. What sets Giuseppe apart is that his knowledge goes so much deeper than the typical tourist script. He seamlessly wove together history, mythology, and the living culture of the city in a way that made everything around us come alive. But it wasn’t just what he knew it was how he used that knowledge to give us experiences we never would have found on our own. He took us to a family-owned meat shop that’s been run by the same family for generations to try the freshest mozzarella, introduced us to limoncello the right way, and found us the best pistachio we’ve ever had. He even took us behind the scenes of some incredible art that most visitors never get to see. What really made him stand out though was the person behind the guide. He genuinely cared about our experience not just in Syracuse, but on our whole trip. He went out of his way to help us plan what to do and where to go in the cities we were visiting next. That kind of generosity isn’t in anyone’s job description. It just comes from being a good human being. We are so grateful for this tour and for Giuseppe. If you get the chance to have him as your guide, take it. You won’t regret it.

Best tour experience! - Out of the handful of walking tours we took in Italy, this was by far the best one. Giuseppe was a wonderful guide, treating us with a taste of local food and drinks while his historical story-telling kept us engaged the whole time. I couldn't recommend the experience more!

Awesome stroll through the city - Awesome experience during which we saw and learned things we could never do on our own. And it was wrapped in a relaxed stroll through the city alongside our local guide Iryna — an Ortigia native — who seemed to know a story about each stone in the city.

Giuseppe's walking tour was a lovely way to spend a morning in Syracuse. Don't miss it. - Giuseppe was an incredible tour guide, he showed us the market and pointed out the larger than life strawberries, capers and zucchini that grows on Sicily. The lovely old fisherman who is unfortunately, the last of 7 generations of fisherman out of Syracuse. A pleasure to meet him. We tried some flavoursome cheese, and we went back for lunch where they made it. A unique experience! Then we saw the oldest Greek temple in the world, which was made of stone, a fountain with a stalker, the Jewish quarter, the square with greek, Roman, Arab, Norman and Spanish history in one building. There was more, but go on the tour to find out, it's worth it! Have a beautiful season. From Isabel and Stuart from the Isle of Skye (another beautiful island 😁)
