Then, venture into the open sea for whale watching, passing through the Sydney Harbour Heads. Your crew will locate the whales and provide informative commentary on their activities. These majestic sea giants were once nearly hunted to extinction, with the humpback population believed to have been as low as 200 whales at one point in history. Conservation efforts have helped increase their numbers to a safe level, preventing extinction.
