Best birthday present for sport lovers - I booked the SCG Tour as a birthday present for my husband, and it turned out to be one of the best gifts I could have given him. As a passionate cricket fan, he was absolutely thrilled to sit in the players' area and experience a part of the ground that so many cricketing greats have been connected with. Seeing his excitement throughout the tour was priceless. The museum was another highlight. Walking through the exhibits felt like reliving the incredible history of the cricket at the SCG. The stories, memorabilia, and rich heritage on display made the experience truly special. My husband was especially excited to hold a cricket bat and immerse himself in the history that has unfolded at this iconic venue over generations. A very special thank you to Stuart, our guide. His enthusiasm, knowledge, and storytelling kept the atmosphere engaging from start to finish. Even as someone with very little knowledge of cricket, I found every part of the tour fascinating thanks to the way he brought the history and stories to life. He struck the perfect balance between being informative and entertaining. To top it all off, my husband felt genuinely honoured to receive the SCG ball as a keepsake gift, which was the perfect finishing touch to an already memorable experience. An unforgettable day for both of us, and a birthday present that created memories we'll cherish for years to come. Highly recommend!

The closest England have come to winning in years - I’ve been lucky enough to visit cricket grounds all over the world and can honestly say the SCG tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Sydney. The ground itself is beautiful and steeped in history, but what really made the experience special was one of our guides, Akhil. You could immediately tell he genuinely loves cricket and enjoys sharing the culture and stories behind the SCG rather than just reciting facts. What stood out most to me was how conversational and engaging the tour felt. We ended up discussing everything from English village cricket and league structures in Sussex to Lord’s traditions, the Ashes urn, and the differences between Australian and English cricket culture. As someone who plays league cricket in England and is chairman of my club I really appreciated how interested he was and how much he cared to learn more about cricket heritage in the UK One of my favourite moments was in the dressing room area where he jokingly said he’d shake the hand of whoever was sitting in Sachin Tendulkar’s seat, which happened to be me after I’d picked it out before anyone had mentioned it! Little moments like that made the whole experience feel personal and memorable. The SCG is obviously iconic, but this tour gave it real personality and atmosphere. It felt less like being shown around a stadium and more like sharing cricket stories with people who genuinely care about the game. Massive thanks to Akhil for such a warm, thoughtful and enjoyable tour. As an English cricket lover visiting Australia for the first time, it’s something I’ll remember for a very long time. P.S seeing Shaun Marsh passing by at the end of the tour was the icing on the cake!

Storied, Scintillating SCG - Had an awesome tour, led by Peter as our guide. He was undoubtedly very knowledgeable on the subject, comprehensive in covering the smallest details of every aspect of this hallowed ground, taking the time to explain without rushing through, recounting interesting backstories and anecdotes and being generous to spend 2 full hours - way more than the scheduled 90 mins. Thank you, Peter! The admission fee was definitely reasonable for a tour of this length and detail Overall, the tour far exceeded our expectations and as a cricket buff, our son (and myself too) absolutely lapped it up! Glad we did this!

SCG Walking Tour - Stuart our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, very generous with his time and made sure all of our questions were answered both in the museum and at each stop of the tour. He was great at checking in with the kids to make sure the information was child-friendly and that they were having a good time.
