Set sail on your Whale Watching vessel at 9:30 am, heading out of Sydney Heads in search of the magnificent Humpback and occasionally the Southern Right Whale. Don’t forget your camera, as Humpback sightings are on the rise each year, and these incredible creatures love to display tail slaps and breaches.
Return to Sydney Harbour, passing the stunning eastern suburbs, and disembark at Taronga Zoo around 11:55 am. The Zoo is situated right on the Sydney Harbour foreshore, offering some of the best views of the city from within the park. Taronga Zoo is home to a wide array of Australia’s remarkable wildlife, including Koalas and platypuses, as well as animals from around the globe, such as Asian elephants, lions, and giraffes.
After exploring all that Taronga Zoo has to offer, head back to the Taronga Zoo ferry wharf to catch a rocket ferry, concluding your day back at Circular Quay Wharf 6. Please check your timetable, provided at check-in, for your preferred return ferry time from the zoo.
