Great experience, very interesting & informative, Dan was great! - Could not fault the experience at all! Dan was a fantastic guide, super informative, interesting and funny - happy to answer all our questions. Loved the small group too, wouldn't want any more. Very thankful for all the workers and tenants allowing us into their spaces. My only complaint, could've done without the coffee stop, as we'd prepared and had breakfast and coffee beforehand, as we felt the tour was not long enough and that time people stopping to order and wait for coffee could've been spent having more time on the tour!

Sydney new fish market wow - We booked an afternoon tour at the last minute so missed a lot of the live action,but our guide Sophie was absolutely fantastic really informative and very passionate about what she does.
The new fish market is fantastic even if you don't do a tour just the array of fish on show and restaurants to try is out of this world ,just watch out for the birds trying to get your dood if you sit outside

Seafood heaven - I really loved this tour of the brand new Sydney Fish Market. It’s a fascinating way to see the inner workings of this seafood hub. Learning about the auctions and the local seafood and see the local fishing fleet up close was a real treat.

From auction to fillets! - Seeing the inside operations of the new Sydney fish market was a great experience, worth the early rise. Dan, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant, taking the time to answer all of our questions. Small group tour, so you get to see it all, from auction to filet!
If you are even curious ti see how your seafood made it to your table, I highly recommend this tour.

Excellent Behind the Scenes tour - Dan led the tour. My wife and I had done the Sunset tour before so I did this one with friends. It was excellent and we saw quite a bit more on this tour including the end of the daily auction.

An early start for an educational 2 hours - It is an early start (6am) but worth the effort. Great to see what happens behind the scenes, learn about dutch auctions, see beautiful fresh seafood and talk about sustainable fishing and aquaculture. Our guides were Dan & T. Really enjoyed the morning and would recommend to locals and tourists alike.

Great Tour, Outstanding Guide, Shame about the parking cost. - Very enjoyable tour that was most informative. Dan was an outstanding guide with superlative knowledge of both market operations and fish facts. The tour took about 2 hours and the best part was getting to go onto the trading floor which is usually closed to the public. We went on a Tuesday and there wasn't a lot of stock so my advice would be to go on a Monday or a Friday which are the busiest days. We felt the tour was good value at just over $80 per person, but the $45 parking for the two hours was rude. Perhaps the markets could consider discounted parking for anyone doing a tour. Despite that, it was well worth doing.
