Syafru - Depart from Kathmandu early in the morning for a 6-hour bus journey to the Langtang Valley Trek. The guide will assist in boarding the bus from Machhapokhari to Syabrubesi. The journey begins at 7:00 AM.

Enjoy the stunning views of landscapes, villages, and winding roads alongside the expansive Trishuli River. After an exhilarating 6-hour bus ride, arrive at Syabrubesi (1,500m).
The first day concludes with leisure time to explore Syabrubesi and interact with the villagers. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
Syafru Bensi - Prithvi Highway:
The route initially follows the Prithvi Highway, a major road connecting Kathmandu to other parts of the country. The highway winds through the lush Trishuli River valley, offering glimpses of terraced fields, traditional villages, and distant Himalayan peaks.
Trishuli River:
As the drive continues, the road follows the winding Trishuli River. The turquoise waters, set against verdant hills, create a captivating scene.
Mountainous Terrain:
Trekkers are treated to panoramic views of terraced hills, dense forests, and the towering peaks of the Langtang Himalayas in the distance.
Syabrubesi Arrival:
The drive ends in Syabrubesi, a charming village along the Bhote Koshi River. Surrounded by hills, it provides a peaceful setting, marking the start of the Langtang Valley Trek.
Trek to Lama Hotel / Rimche (2500 meters) 5 hours.
Trek to Langtang Village / Mundu (3307 meters) 5 hours.
Langtang Valley - From the Lama Hotel, continue gently ascending above the Langtang Khola. As the trail progresses, it becomes steeper. Occasionally, enjoy the exotic sights of Langtang Lirung at 7246 meters.
The trail leads to a log bridge, and upon further climbing, lush meadows of Ghoda-tabela at 2992 meters appear. Several lodges and a police check post are visible. Further on, the route opens into a wide valley of yak pastures and scattered Tamang villages showcasing water-driven mills and prayer wheels.
After descending for a while, arrive at Langtang village after crossing a stream and reaching a height of 3430 meters.
Langtang village is the headquarters for Langtang National Park and features flat-roofed Tibetan-style houses, hotels, and cultivated lands yielding buckwheat, potatoes, wheat, turnips, barley, etc. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
Langtang Valley - Enchanting Forests:
The trek meanders through enchanting rhododendron and bamboo forests, creating a magical atmosphere.
Wildlife Encounters:
As the ascent continues, keep an eye out for the diverse wildlife inhabiting the region. Langtang National Park is home to various species, including langur monkeys, Himalayan tahr, and the elusive red panda. Nature enthusiasts will find this stretch of the trek particularly rewarding.
Langtang River and Waterfalls:

Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3798 meters) 4 hours.
Kyanjin Gompa - The trail gradually skirts through rich yak pastures and interesting traditional villages from Mundu to Singdun. Cross a wooden cantilever bridge and reach a wide valley after climbing a moraine.
Finally, ascend along the mountain passes to arrive at Kyagjin Gompa. There is a small monastery and a government-operated cheese factory. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
Kyanjin Gompa - Nestled within the spectacular Langtang Valley, Kyanjin Gompa stands as a spiritual and scenic oasis for trekkers. Situated at an altitude of approximately 3,870 meters (12,697 feet), Kyanjin Gompa is a traditional Tibetan village adorned with a picturesque monastery. Syafru - Today, there are two options. Either retrace the same route or take a more interesting path via Rimche. On the way to Rimche, visit the village of Sherpa Gaon for lunch and reach Syabrubesi by evening.
Alternatively, walk through oak and rhododendron forests before returning to Syabrubesi and bidding farewell to the Himalayan wilderness. Before the Langtang Trek route concludes, feel free to explore the local market. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
Syafru Bensi - The descent from Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi marks the concluding leg of the Langtang Valley Trek, offering trekkers a reflective journey through the diverse landscapes theyāve traversed. Starting from Lama Hotel, the trail retraces the steps through enchanting rhododendron and bamboo forests, with the sounds of the Langtang River accompanying the descent. As trekkers descend further, they pass by charming Tamang villages, providing a final opportunity for cultural exchanges with the friendly locals. Kathmandu - After breakfast, catch a coach early in the morning and head back to Kathmandu. It takes around 6 hours to reach Kathmandu.
In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepalese restaurant with cultural performances.
Trishuli - The bus drive from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu serves as the final leg of the Langtang Valley Trek, offering trekkers a return journey through the diverse landscapes of Nepal. Departing from Syabrubesi, the bus traverses the winding mountain roads, providing passengers with panoramic views of terraced hills, traditional villages, and the distant Himalayan peaks.
