• Desert Explorers Adventure Centre - Our combo packages are perfect for those eager to fill their day with thrilling adventures. Experience the excitement of riding a quad bike across Namibia’s vast, ever-changing sand dunes, and enjoy the rush of speeding down these massive dunes on a lie-down sandboard. This 2-hour excursion includes a quad ride to the sandboarding site and back to our facility. Participants will receive a brief introduction and safety briefing before setting off. No prior experience is necessary for these activities. All equipment, including quad bikes and sandboards, is user-friendly, and our guides will accompany you throughout the journey. Stops will be made as needed and for photo opportunities—we want you to capture this incredible experience. Children are more than welcome. Both activities are considered ‘must-do’s’ in Namibia! Note that our tours are not private; however, in quieter seasons you will most likely have a private tour. We generally provide one guide for every six guests. Note that youth who ride their own quad bike pay the adult price.
