Great experience, def recommend the small geoup - We had a great time with Boggi. Definitely recommend this over the bigger groups as you’ll get to ride in the truck up on the glacier itself where the other, larger groups will have to hike up. Also try looking directly as his website for a better price, icecaveinicand.is.

THIS is the TOUR to book! - Don't search anymore-THIS IS THE TRIP TO BOOK!!! Small group vehicle equipped to drive you onto the glacier for close walking distance to the caves, instead of parking far away and having to walk a minimum of 20 minutes before even reaching a cave!! The day we went the wind was howling, the place was PACKED with busses and vans, yet we were in and out of the caves, all by ourselves, before any other grouped even reached them by foot. I cannot recommend this company enough! Highly experienced owner and guide, Buggy, was so personable, funny, and accommodating. He contacted me the night before to adjust our departure time in order to avoid the crowds and we had the caves entirely to ourselves!! No waiting for 20 people to go in and out, personalized Q & A whenever we wanted, fun tips for taking pictures- he was GREAT!!

Small group with no crowds. Book this trip! - My husband and I booked with Boggi four years ago when we visited Iceland so, when returning with the whole family this year, we wanted the opportunity to visit the ice caves with the kids and, once again, we were not disappointed! Boggi and his daughter Vigga were fabulous. We met at Jokulsarlon and set off at 0830 ahead of the crowds. Their specially adapted vehicles meant that we were able to drive right up on the the glacier, leaving the other tour groups behind. We had the caves all to ourselves and loved every moment. Huge thank you to Boggi and Vigga at icecaveiniceland.is (we booked on their website directly and it was cheaper) for such a wonderful experience (again!).

Great Tour! - We had a very good experience at the ice cave today with Ice Cave in Iceland. We left at 08:30 and were the only ones in the cave, it was truly amazing. We had never seen something like this. Boggi showed us around and his kindness, good spirits, experience and knowledge of the area was what made it special. He always had a nice story to tell and you can see he truly enjoys what he does. We would go back without hesitation!

Once in a Lifetime experience - Very fun. Easy to do for all fitness levels and we even enjoyed the enriching talks on the way to and from the caves. We were able to beat the crowds and had the best time. Boggi is the best. Truly one of the highlights of our iceland trip!!

Amazing experience - Since the day I booked the trip, they have only made it easier for us to get there and to adapt anything we needed. Boggi was an excellent guide and made the trip super fun and interesting (and safe).

The best ice caves tour available - An incredibly fun and unique trip. Boggi was an excellent guide and made the experience even better with his knowledge and stories. He is one of two companies that drive you straight to the caves and avoids the big queues! If you want to experience the Glacier and caves right - book this trip!

Unforgettable Ice Cave Tour with Boggi – Highly recommended! - We had the 9am Ice Cave tour yesterday with provider Ice Cave – and it was just an incredible experience!
Our driver and guide Boggi was really the best. Originally there were five of us, but since one person was not there in time, we only started four. This had huge advantages: Nevertheless, we left on time and were able to completely avoid the crowds. Thanks to Bogi’s smaller vehicle, he was able to overtake easily on the road – and he is even allowed to ride directly on the glacier (which only two suppliers are allowed to do!). That gave us a huge head start.
Since we booked the early tour at 9 am, we were allowed to experience the sunrise over the glacier – simply breathtaking! When we arrived at the cave, we were actually the only ones on site. No crowds, no hustle and bustle – just pure magic.
Of course, with only four people, everything went much faster: Put on your gear, put on your helmet and go. No comparison to large groups of 15 people. We would therefore recommend a small group at any time – with Bogi it is a maximum of six people, which is perfect.
Already on the way out he gave us a lot of exciting information, on the way back even more tips for our stay. He told stories and legends that made the tour even more special. On site he gave us enough time for photos, showed us tips for really nice pictures and explained a lot about the ice caves.
All in all, it was just a mega experience – perfectly organized, personal, informative and absolutely impressive.
Very clear recommendation – especially with Boggi.
For the best price - book on the site itself!!!

Amazing tour in the glacier with Boggi - It was so amazing !
Boggi was amazing. He live the glacier as nobody else and explained everything really clearly and was really kind with all of us. He timed the tour perfectly so we were alone in the cave with no other group around.
I recommend it very warmly !

Highly overpriced, yet beautiful caves - You can drive about 45 minutes to the glacier in a typical off-road car. Our guide’s car was able to drive up to the glacier, which is why we were taken directly to the ice caves. Guests from other agencies had to run to the caves. It is certainly also an experience to hike on the glacier.
Our group consisted of 5 people. It's an advantage, of course, because you get through faster and there aren't others in the photos all the time. The fact that the guide had to mention this every 5 minutes, how great it is that he offers small groups, was a bit annoying after the third time.
The advantage of the small group was clear to everyone, which is why you also booked the tour with the small group.
The caves were great to look at. Photos of the organizer look even more impressive. In itself, the price for this tour is already very high and in our opinion excessive.
If there are no cashback offers for Viator, the tour is about 50€ cheaper if you book it directly with the organizer on the website. With cashback, Viator is cheaper.
A very high-priced experience, which we think is too expensive compared to snowmobile tours or other excursions in Iceland.
