Moli Peak of East Mountain - Upon arrival, take a moment to stretch and join your outdoor guide for a 12km hiking tour. The first stop is Moli Peak of East Mountain, known for its rich history, stunning scenery, and extensive tourist attractions. At noon, you will reach Tzu Yun Nunnery at the peak of Moli, where you can enjoy your meal. After a brief rest, the journey continues to Luxiang Ancient Village.
Luxiang Ancient Village dates back to the Southern Song Dynasty, over 1,000 years ago, and is a well-preserved example of Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture. The village features Ming Dynasty old streets, the Sanyuan archway, and various halls. Experience the ancient atmosphere that has endured through the centuries. Suzhou East Mountain, also referred to as East Dongting Mountain and commonly known as East Mountain, is situated in Wuzhong, Suzhou. This peninsula stretches into Taihu Lake, surrounded by water on three sides. The lake is illuminated with light, and the shadows of fishing sails and gulls are scattered across it. Seventy-two peaks, including Dongting West Mountain and Guangfu Deng Wei, come together to create the stunning and expansive Taihu Lake Scenic Area. Legend has it that General Moli of the Sui dynasty resided here, which is why it is also called Moli Mountain.
Moli Peak, located on the shore of Taihu Lake, stands at an altitude of 293.5 meters, offering a panoramic view of the lake from its summit.
The hike covers approximately 12 km, with a total climb of 530 meters, and the highest point reaches an altitude of 300 meters.
