Enjoyable tour - We booked this tour for our cruise ship stop in Suva. Some of the negative comments in past reviews caused some concern but we did not experience any of those issues. I communicated with the company through Viator several times before our arrival. We did not want the waterfall included in our tour so they adjusted our itinerary accordingly. I received responses to all of my inquiries. In particular, when our port times changed the day before arrival, I received a reply with adjusted time within an hour. We met at the designated location and were picked up promptly by Peter who is the owner of the company. He had a clean, late model car with good AC. We had a couple of challenges in that we arrived on a Sunday so many things were closed and it was raining so most outdoor stops weren't feasible. Peter did a great job of showing us Suva and the outlying areas. He took us to a market that was open so we could see the local products. Fortunately, the museum was open so we got to tour that as well. Peter has a great deal of knowledge about Fiji, its culture, and how it's being affected by world affairs (even though he's not native to the island). In fact, the information he gave us about how drugs are being trafficked from Asia was documented in a Washington Post article this morning. We enjoyed spending the afternoon with Peter and would recommend this tour.

The falls, the natural pool, and total chill with friendly native kids and adults - Friendly, knowledgeable guide - bilingual French and English. Relaxed pace for us up and down the trail to and from the falls.

Excellent port-day adventure off cruise - Stepped off our cruise ship and met Peter for an amazing day in Suva! Peter's vehicle was extremely clean and comfortable (once I got used to being on the opposite side of the road than the US!). We had a quick jaunt out to the nature park, during which Peter was extremely informative about the area and the local culture and customs. Once we reached the park, we had a pleasant little hike to some gorgeous pools for a dip. We also got there well ahead of the larger tour groups from the ship, so we were able to enjoy our time in the pools uncrowded and unhurried. After our hike, Peter took us to a local market where he was well acquainted with many of the vendors and we were able to sample some products and learn about the local agriculture! After that we requested some good local grub for lunch. Despite being Sunday and most things being closed, Peter found us an excellent spot and joined us for lunch!

Suva day trip - John picked us up at our hotel as arranged. We were very pleased to have a personalised tour of Suva with just the two of us it felt comfortable and relaxed. John was an excellent guide, he had some good stories to tell and was knowledgeable about the area. We felt very safe with his driving in a country where drivers are not always the best. Since this was our last day in Suva we had actually walked around most of the city so had seen some of the sites that were originally planned for this trip. John was very accommodating and took us to places that we probably would not have gone otherwise which gave us a really good overview of the city. What’s the recommend to this company if visiting Suva and wanting to see some of the sites with a local.

Lovely falls , challenging hike - Joel was a great tour guide. The walk to the falls was lovely however it was narrow, challenging and slick in spots. The swimming pool was awesome! We found the excursion title misleading as it is a small group excursion.

beautiful island - Beautiful island. We were able to see a lot even though the weather wasn't the best. We saw a beautiful waterfall and other sights on the island.

Friendly staff. Chaotic time. Misleading description - The guides were nice people, but the tour itself was a disaster. The listing describes it is a "Private Tour," yet we were packed into shuttles with multiple other groups. The "customizable" aspect disappeared as we were rushed out of the waterfall (after only 15 mins of swim time) to wait 30 minutes for transport shuffling. We ended up cutting the tour short just to get away from the frustration, only for the driver to take us on a long detour through a local (poor) neighborhood we didn't ask to visit. This added time for no reason. Management needs to update their description to reflect that this is a shared shuttle service, not a private tour.

This tour was not as described - This tour was advertised and sold as a "fully customisable private tour" starting at 1:00pm. We were told someone would be waiting for us with a sign with our last name at the exit of the Suva port. When we reached the exit of the port, we were accosted by dozens of people selling tours and taxi services, but no one with a sign for us. Someone eventually found us and told us she would get us to the tour. She made some phone calls and we were picked up about 20 minutes later by a taxi to take us to the National Forest, where we joined a group tour that had already started. We did not see the waterfall, as the group we joined already saw that. We then got on a bus and drove to a town outside of Suva and visited the market there. We then visited the Fiji Museum before we were taken back to the port. The owner of the tour company was with us and tried to explain that "customizable" means we should have replied to an email sent to us a few days prior to the tour to tell him what we wanted to see on the tour, but no email was received. In all fairness, the tour was interesting and the tour operator was apologetic for the misunderstanding.

Better not! - The excursion was poorly organized, all guides delayed at the meeting point. Waited 20 minutes in the glowing sun at the port exit. The tour was mainly interesting by the additionally booked taxi driver, who was very concerned about us. The young lady in charge of Kay Tours was completely incompetent and only busy with her mobile phone. Had it not been for the waterfall, the 4 hours would have been completely superfluous! Too bad for time and money!
