Best educational trip ever! - We adored our guide Non! He warmed our hearts with his kindness and generosity towards children, animals and everyone around him. He emanated love. It was evident he was very knowledgeable and had a way of providing information that made it easy to digest and appreciate. His humor was engaging! Non knew the best photo spots too.

Don't miss it - This was an incredible tour. First, it's amazing to visit Doi Suthep at dawn, watching the sun come up and listening to the monks' morning chant. It felt like such a privilege to be guided by two ex-monks (Non and Blue). who could explain everything that was happening and help us participate in the experience in a way that was culturally/religiously appropriate. I had a lot of questions about Buddhism by this point in my travels in Thailand, and both men were really patient and thoughtful in answering all of them. The other two temples we visited were also amazing, particularly the forest temple. Highly recommend this tour!

Meditate, chant, birds, song, waterfalls, monks blessing you. - Non is delightful and informative. We were steps in front of all the crowds and were able to roam the grounds in peace listening g to birds and waterfalls and chants rolling over the hills while being lifted up by the small of incense and flowers. You just might compare your future tour guides to Non from now on.

Wonderful opportunity to get a glimpse into the Buddhist Relegion and practices - James was a wonderful guide and very informative. He did not rush us and answered any questions we had. We enjoyed the morning with him and the other people in the group from other parts of the world. He took the time to allow a group to Italy to translate the information with each other and continued to clarify so all understood. If you get carsick easily, take some meds before going up to the first temple.

Mindful experience with an amazing guide - First, my biggest gratitude to our guide Blue - he has provided with a lot of interesting facts and insight not only about the life of monks but Thai culture as well, and he also took pics and videos of the whole group and inidividually. In general, it is a wonderful tour for anyone who just arrived in Thailand or Chiang Mai. You get a beautiful introduction into the religion and local life, get to interract with the monks with joining their morning meditions or providing offerings to them (included in the tour package), as well as have a lovely Thai breakfast. Although it is an early start, it is worth it because it is less touristy and you can enjoy 3 temples almost to yourself. The route is not too hard, just a few steps to climb, but there are steps to be aware of! (although the van takes you as close as it can). Very much recommend this activity to anyone travelling solo - it was a very mindful and peaceful start of the day!

Beautiful cultural and peaceful experience - We had such an amazing morning on the Sunrise Doi Suthep tour with ex-monk. We were picked up promptly at 5am and we joined a small group of 7 of us total. We were driven up the hill to the Wat Phra Doi Suthep. The overall experience included an opportunity to chant with monks, participate in blessings and give alms to the monks. Tom (our guide and ex-monk) explained the traditions and love of the monk. The experience was truly magical. After that we had a traditional breakfast and then we went down the mountain and visited another beautiful temple in the jungle. Tom continued to explain the differences in the temples and cultures behind them. Lastly we visited a temple in the city and last of the three for the day. We arrived back at our hotel at 10:30am. Overall it was a memorable and fantastic cultural experience. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Chiang Mai

spiritual experience - An extraordinary tour, a real experience on the Temple Mount at dawn! And also the other two temples. It was worth getting up early. I learned so much from our great guide, the ex-monk, that no guidebook says. Thank you so much! The tour is definitely worth its price. Love z for my part would rather not donate food to the monks, however, because the monks do not need it and probably do not want it.
