After arriving in the village of Mount Bromo area, you will continue the journey in a 4WD Off-Road Jeep, going through a bumpy road to get to the sunrise point.
- Mount Bromo - We’ll use a Jeep (4 WD) to continue the trip so we can appreciate the rough route that circles the hilly region. Next, we will head to Mt. Penanjakan, the best place to enjoy the sunrise view of Bromo. We then went down the hill and passed through the vast stretching sea of sand created by the eruption of Mount Bromo. The trip will take around 30 minutes to reach the summit. You can see Mt. Semeru, the highest mountain on Java Island, as well as the caldera, the Mt. Batok mountains, and the still-active Bromo crater from the peak’s rim. After descending from Bromo crater, you are required to make your way to a Hindu temple named Pura Luhur Poten, which is a remnant of one of the Indonesian kingdoms. Then, you can enjoy a traditional Indonesian breakfast at a local restaurant and head to Subaya or Malang.

Great way to end the Bromo sunrise tour! - The Bromo sunrise tour was incredible — totally worth the early wake-up! After the tour, we stopped at Bromo Delicious Breakfast Buffet. The food was tasty, with a good mix of Indonesian and Western options. The place was clean, staff were friendly, and it was the perfect spot to relax and recharge before heading back. Highly recommended!

4 Days 3 Nights Bromo/Tumpak Sewu & Mt Ijen - 5th to 8th May 2025o - My Group of 8pax had A Very Good and Awesome 4 days 3 nights Bromo/Tumpak Sewu & Mt Ijen booked through Landscapes.
Mr Arfi the co-ordinator is not only fast in respond to our inquiries, he also looks into our concerns that we be put up in clean hotels!
Our English Speaking Guide Mr Elhan speaks good English & had also taken very good care of us.
The reason why we selected to go with Landscapes is they do not requires upfront deposit for the service bookings and we only need to pay after end of trip!
I had since my return been recommending & encourage my hiking friends to book through Landscapes if the are planning for Bromo Mt Ijen hikes.

Recommended trip organizer - We did the 1-day Bromo trip and it was such a great experience. The service was excellent from the start — the team was friendly and helpful throughout the day. The car was clean and super comfortable, which made the long ride really smooth. Our guide was fun to talk to, very informative, and helped us take lots of great photos. After enjoying the beautiful sunrise, we had breakfast at a buffet place near Bromo that was super cozy and the food was delicious. Overall, the trip was totally worth it and I highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Bromo!

Unforgettable Bromo Tour experience! - From the moment we were picked up in mount bromo tour package, everything was going well, professional, and friendly. Our guide faruq was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. He knew all the best spots to catch the sunrise, and thanks to him, we got stunning photos without the crowds.
The driver Andi was also excellent — safe, punctual, and very helpful, even during the early morning hours. The whole trip was well-organized, and we never felt rushed.
Mount Bromo itself was magical, but it was the care and hospitality from the team that made this trip truly special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience in East Java!

2D1N Bromo/ Ijen Tour - We did a 2D1N Bromo and Ijen tour and had a lot of fun. The two mountains are amazing and the views really stunning. Alhan was a great guide, he told us a lot and showed us the best spots. Would definitely recommend the tour.

Amazing bromo midnight tour - I had an amazing time on the Bromo Midnight Tour! Our guide was super friendly and fun. he made the whole trip feel easy and enjoyable, even during the early hours. Beautiful bromo - Great one-day experience! We departed at midnight from Malang, and everything was well-organized. The sunrise view from Penanjakan was stunning, and the trip to Bromo Crater, Sea of Sand, and Bukit Teletubbies was unforgettable. The guide was helpful and friendly. Perfect trip if you have limited time. Highly recommended!

Sunrise experience in Bromo with friends - I joined a private Bromo tour and everything was beyond expectations! From the on-time pickup, comfortable vehicle, to the friendly and knowledgeable guide — everything was smooth and well-organized.
We started the trip early in the morning to catch the sunrise at Penanjakan, and wow… it was magical! The sea of clouds, Mount Semeru quietly puffing smoke in the distance, and the golden light breaking through — truly breathtaking. After that, we continued to Bromo Crater, Whispering Sands, and Teletubbies Hill. Each place had its own charm.
What I really appreciated was the professionalism of the team. They helped take amazing photos, explained each location in detail, and managed the time perfectly.
Highly recommended for families, couples, or solo travelers who want to witness the natural beauty of Indonesia. Just make sure to wear a thick jacket — it’s pretty cold in the morning!

100% as expected, if you can afford book this tour to see Mt. Bromo sunrise - Perfect trip. The guide was early but gave us all the time we needed. The fist part by car was without any trouble. Then transfer to jeep for 30 minutes across flat (not so bumpy) surface and then 30 steep climb. We had tea at the cafe at the top awaiting sunrise. Although we where way early out guide told us it was better then a traffic jam and a long walk/climb because the jeep would not be able to go all the way due to traffic. The sunrise was great the view spectaculair. Then back to the sea of sand. The climb before the stairs was steep but doable. The stairs where very manageable. The crater was covered in fog but it was still great a great view.
Breakfast was good. Then back down and back to town.
Both driver (car and jeep) did a good job. The guide is all you could ask for. Great English, a lot of knowledge and great general conversation and very helpful every step of the way. Having a 100% private tour gave us the freedom to move at our desired speed. (2 pax, 50+) . I would book this tour again if I wanted to go to Bromo
