First I want to start by saying I had been here a few years ago and had a wonderful experience so to have to give this such a low rating now isn’t what I was hoping to do. There were two people working that we met...one that I am assuming was the owner and she was our trail guide and then she had a “helper.” The helper didn’t have any idea what she was doing and the owner kept scolding her. Right in front of us! It was very uncomfortable. My daughters saddle wasn’t on snug enough so it kept sliding to the side as she rode. Even though this was a beginner ride, I feel the trail guide should have asked all of us if we had ever been on a horse. She gave a 5 min “lesson” and then we were off. She kept turning around during the ride and scolding my friend who was first in line on how she was holding the reins too tight and if she loosened them up the horse may go faster. My friend was very stressed out about that. The trail guide rode pretty far ahead which I found rude. She spoke few words during the hour ride. It’s such a beautiful place it would have been nice to here her talk about it more or even ask us if we had any questions. I personally have ridden many times but was there in support of my two friends who were new to the experience. They as well as I felt the trail guide/owner was not very pleasant. It truly saddens me to say this because the horses were all beautiful and seemed well taken care of. My horse tripped quite a few times which worried me as she said the horses were all over 20 years old. The dog that went on the trail ride was awesome and so fun to watch! I hope to see some younger girls back to the place to brighten it up...then I may think of visiting again. Until then I would not recommend this place. Sorry for the lengthy review. I do feel it’s important to share.

We were unable to ride once due to weather which is understandable and the second attempt we made we arrived 40 minutes early and chatted with the staff and not until we were about to get on the horse were we told that we couldn’t ride because I was wearing long shorts. I am disappointed as if they had told us when we arrived I would have had enough time to go purchase some. Th Rey asked us to reschedule. We decided not to as we were not thrilled with the lack of tact and had spent 6 hours driving there and back twice. They refused to refund our money and claimed it was outside their refund guidelines, which it was not. I explained everything to the owner and her response was nothing. Very disappointed in her business practices.
