This tour provides a unique opportunity to observe authentic sumo practice up close and experience the intensity and discipline of their daily routine.

Observe the rigorous training that shapes the bodies and spirits of sumo wrestlers, and gain insight into the daily life and competitions of a sumo wrestler. If fortunate, participants may even have the chance to take photos with the wrestlers after practice.

The guide will provide a detailed explanation of the fascinating world of sumo, and a special sumo information document is included to enhance your understanding.

• The itinerary for this tour includes some locations that are not accessible by a wheelchair or stroller.
• The sumo stable is often visited by various tour companies, so seating will be FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. Late visitors may be seated 2-3 rows from the front. We appreciate your understanding.
• Caution: All areas in the sumo stable are off-limits, except for the tatami (straw flooring) areas.
• Summer in Japan is very hot and humid, so we recommend that you bring water and wear a hat to prevent heat stroke.
