Our tour guide is very knowledgeable and funny. I believe we received more of an unvarnished idea of Charleston's history. I would have liked to hear about a few more women who made real contributions such as former Charleston residents, Sarah and Angelina Grimke. Of course, they became strong abolitionists after moving from SC. All in all it was enjoyable and informative. Thank you. I actually would take it again if there were new women highlighted. It was a blazing hot day, but Larry's energy could not be squelched. We walked around Charleston for 2 hours and he held me captivated with stories of the incredible women that helped build Charleston and America to what we know it today. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in learning about people who history may not have recognized for their incredible contributions and achievements.
