Great - Super boat tour, thanks to Pasquale for taking us in front of the Sciara del Fuoco to live this incredible experience

Adventure with a rubber dinghy - Nice, but with a rubber dinghy it was a bit unsafe. The bouncing to counter the waves scared us, also because we are not used to such a vehicle. Better to do it with small boats

Punctuality and courtesy. IT IS... - Punctuality and courtesy. It was truly a unique experience in its kind. We could not see the lava flow, but there were some spectacular pyroclastic explosions.

A beautiful experience, with a volcano clearly visible. - An excellent experience, with a great view of the volcano and stunning sea. The only downside was that there were a few more people than expected, but this did not diminish the view.

Great experience but not guided - It was a very nice experience to see this lava and stromboli explosions from the sea at sunset. Unforgettable! The best photos are to be taken when the night is not yet settled. This release is not guided so no comments. The only word heard from the guide was when we stopped to pick up other people in Ginostra...the word was: "Ginostra". Then nothing. A little pity for people who do not know the site. Departure on time, return 30 minutes before the scheduled time... Sufficient time in front of the volcano. Have a good day.

Check the duration of the ride … !!! - It was cool. The view of the vulcano, the eruptions, it is mind blowing it changes you. The driver had a really cool vibe, max #aura, the rubber boat did a good job, still at some point i felt a little bit sick because how the waves wobbled us all the time. However the thing that bothered us afterwards was the duration. I am pretty shure that where I saw the add it said two hours and on trip advisor it said 2-3h. I did not read the description later in the Viator app that it is only an hour and a half, I checked it only after the ride as I could not understand why we went back so fast, also to me it seemed logical that the driving part to the viewing point is not included in the duration time. The sad part is that this time includes the driving with the boat, so the total viewing time is less than an hour. We were dissapointed by that, as 56 euros per person is not a small amount of money and we had different expectations. So that was dissapointing. Here is my pro advice if you are thinking about it: We later met some people who told us we could walk to different panoramic points to view the explosions, so after dinner we did that in the night, and stayed there for almost the whole night, now this was truly amazing and unforgettable, also the perseid meteor shower did not dissapoint. So maybe spare it or choose some ride that stays there longer and also check if the official duration suits you, so that you match your expectations.

Too bad! Hardly any lava! - Pasqualo has his organization well under control. His team members were also very helpful. Everything was really good so far! Unfortunately, Stromboli didn't make much of an effort to spew lava from the sea. For us, only a small glowing light could be seen at the very top of the summit now and then, no Sciara del Fuoco experiences. Too bad. But that's just nature! Pasqualo can't change that either. For this reason, the investment was not satisfactory for my husband and me.

Beautiful show - Good but not really suitable for someone with a cane!

Unorganised and not a ‘tour’ - The volcano views were amazing but I would go with a different tour operator. They are very unorganised, the ‘guide’ doesn’t speak a word of english and just operates the boat but it’s not really a ‘tour’, and when I complained to the tour operator he was very rude

Just a boat tour - We booked the activity in French....expecting some interactions and explanations on the volcano, previous eruptions, life on the island.....anything really. We got an email the night before, suggesting we meet earlier for a drink: we did meet earlier, got on the boat with 2 other couples. We got to Ginostra where we were told to come back in 1 hour. We figured we had to find a place ourselves to have a drink. We only found a very pricy place (30€ for 2 aperol spritz, 20 olives and a few slices of ham). Then back on the boat where we saw a few very nice eruptions. The boat was fast and Pasquale is an excellent driver. There were no communications/explana and we felt like we were being transported like goods. If you cannot do the hike, you might consider the boat tour...shop around but refuse the drinks if you choose this one!!
