A hands-on Museum - Really, really good museum. It reminds me of the kind of museums I used to go to as a kid. All hands on. A great walk-through museum. Brilliant little displays.. we went as a couple, but it would also be a great place to take kids .

Great family visit to learn about The Tufors. - What a smashing little hands on museum where you can learn about Tudor life and the Shrive House. As a retired lecturer I found the hands on exhibits great fun for children and enjoyed this quirky historical visit. Greeted by a smashing, informative Tudor dressed host we walked through rooms laid out showing Tudor life including chance to dress up, write e wed both a quill and loved the smell boxes! We were like big kids! Aldo goes ghost tours, which would be quite atmospheric I would imagine telling you stories about the house. We we I’ll certainly be back to go this next time. Small, huge fun and very educational.

Frightening and fun ghost tour by Wilfred - Burt, or should I say Wilfred, was a fantastic guide through our evening ghost tour. The evening was both frightening and fun, filled with lots of laughter, thanks to the brilliant storytelling of Wilfred. We really enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Stratford-upon-Avon.

Lovely way to spend a couple of hours - Great experience, good way to pass on 1-2 hrs depending how much time you have, interesting to see Tudor times, the smell boxes are disgusting but it just goes to show how much we take for granted these days 😁

Informative, enjoyable and great value - Really enjoyed this interactive and educational attraction. At £8 a visit this experience is a bargain that I would be happy to pay a lot more for.

A Tudor stop unlike anything! - An absolute blast. So clever and well laid- out. We stumbled on it accidentally and it was a complete highlight. Interactive exhibit as you weave through a real Tudor house and learn so much. Lots of humor and fun along the way. A must!! You can linger as long as you like. Reasonable fee. Great staff.

Tudor Despair - Given the reviews, this was dingier and more run down than expected. Worn out mannequins wearing dusty falling apart costumes in dirty settings. Also so much despair and depressing content. Was Tudor life really all plague and murder and starvation? They never had any fun? No music or games or play? It was interesting with lots to read, but I just left feeling like I’d only seen one part of the story.

Ok but a bit disappointed to be honest. - Of all the activities we did in Stratford upon Avon this was probably the least impressive. I had read some good reviews so perhaps went in with too high of expectations. The ‘museum’ I guess attempts to be interesting and I’ll give it to them, has a fair amount of basic interaction, but, there isn’t much too this museum, and I would suggest if you are wanting to learn about the town and the different eras, including the Tudor influence, the walking tour of the city was much more interesting and informative.
