Fantastic walking tour of Stratford upon Avon - Fantastic 2 hour walking tour of Stratford, done today. Owen, our guide, was very knowledgeable, able to answer further questions and expand on facts. Lots of history, fun facts, and information about the arts, Shakespeare, and the theatre. Owen really seemed to enjoy giving the tour and his enthusiasm and great sense of humour made the tour so enjoyable. Small group of about 12. Leisurely pace. Well worth the £12 fee. We often book a walking tour- abroad as well as in UK- and this was one of the best we have been on. Would highly recommend.

Illuminating and fascinating Stratford town walk. - The group of 12 were met by John, our guide, on time. John’s enthusiasm and pride for Stratford was displayed throughout the walk. It was not a list of facts of people and buildings but more a living walk back into history delivered with humour. John shared the origins of several everyday sayings, ‘sleep tight and don’t let the bed bugs bite’ being a favourite. John was always courteous to the group and public by ensuring stops were well managed. His party piece was a monologue including all Shakespeare’s plays. Marvellous! I look forward to retracing my steps at leisure to take it all in again.

Very enjoyable and informative tour, beautiful tudor housing - I had a really good time and learnt a lot. The tudor housing was beautiful and the most I have ever seen in a town. It was a bit windy though and that was hard to deal with over 2 hours but as it gets warmer that will no longer be a problem.

Brilliant way to explore Stratford upon Avon - We had a brilliant time on the town walk, hearing lots of stories about the buildings. Stratford upon Avon is a great place to visit and look around anyway but the walking tour gave depth and insight you can't get on your own. You also get a discount code for shops and places to eat which is fabulous.
