Come and learn about Shakespeare’s past - I was very pleased with my visit. I travelled there via the park and ride. I was happy for it to be open on a Monday and as it was not too busy it allowed me to walk around the exhibition in my own time. It was a very informative visit as it included clear and easy to read information as well as volunteers who were well-informed and attentive to visitor questions. I would recommend the visit.

Wonder Must Visit Site - This is a really neat experience to walk through Shakespeares home. I toured it several years ago, but, wanted to bring my husband to see it who honestly loved it and its historical significance! The docents who volunteer inside are welcoming, friendly and full of historical information! It’s a must see site if in Stratford Upon Avon!

Pretty cool spot - I was really amazed that the building was still standing. It’s in a small town and seems to be the center of the town. It’s amazing to me that it is still standing.

Interesting visit - Our ticket was part of our Explorer Pass. There was a good mix of original features and modern technology used effectively. Several guides around the building with great knowledge and enthusiasm.

Worth a visit - 3.5 stars from me. I enjoyed it but found it a little bit lacking in depth, it need more detail, especially about his later life and his literary career. Guides were very good, engaging and knowledgeable. It was not busy on the day we visited so we had no hassles with big crowds and could enjoy the self guided tour at our leisure. Worth doing overall but could be better if it was expanded to delve deeper into his career.

Bafflingly overpriced - Overpriced. There just isn’t very much to see, and modern political fashions have made their mark. Overall the experience was very disappointing.

So vastly overpriced - Vastly overpriced. Go down the road to Tudor World, a much better experience for a third of the price. You learn about Shakespeare and everything Tudor.

Rip off. Sort your prices out! - Biggest rip off of my life! The house is about 70% modified. Hardly any original features. I couldnt see anything from Shakespeare himself just a few pots and some stone artifacts which were replicas or similar to the ones they referenced about him. Garden is a tiny courtyard. Absolute joke. £26 is daylight roberry. Don't waste your money.

Waste of money and time. - This was the biggest ripoff on our entire trip. They charged 26 pounds to walk through a small house with few exhibits and at least one staff member who was more interested in enforcing rules than in helping create some type of experience. They then wanted 15 more pounds to see an adjacent house. It was baffling really and I now understand why there was no line. Skip this tour.

Gross bathrooms-Town. Town needs to do better - Obviously the town wants to continue to attract tourism, however there are no restrooms provided anywhere in town. We did find one with the floor cover in puddles of urine. I wouldn’t let my children use it, it was so bad. It was absolutely disgusting. If you want to attract people, gain taxes from all the pubs and restaurants than provide facilities to use.
