- Nackareservatet - Embrace the festive spirit with a Swedish Sauna experience followed by a traditional Swedish Christmas dinner buffet, known as Julbord, served by the fire in a charming log cabin from the late 1800s.
Guests will be picked up outside their hotel and enjoy a 20-minute drive through a picturesque residential area to the nature reserve, where the restaurant and sauna are nestled by a serene forest lake.
At the sauna, the host will explain the customs and procedures of the Swedish Sauna and ice-bathing. Guests only need to bring swimwear and a water bottle. The sauna facilities are separate for ladies and gentlemen.
After the sauna, guests will be welcomed into a cozy restaurant with glögg by the Christmas trees and enjoy one of the finest Christmas buffets, featuring all the traditional Swedish dishes and flavors available only in December, with an emphasis on organic and local produce.
The host will guide guests through the buffet from start to finish, ensuring they experience the full range of tastes and learn about the history behind the menu.
The experience concludes with a return trip to the hotel, where guests will be dropped off by car.
Warm regards,
Alexandra
