It was a fun riding and David our instructor taught my sister excellent and overcome her fear of trotting her horse. Nice places to see and our horse were gentle and calm. Thank you and we’ll be coming back again!

The horses were beautiful. The trails were beautiful. The guy who led the excursion was an elderly John Wayne type, called himself Cowboy something or other. He seemed gregarious and funny in the beginning but as the ride progressed, it became clear that he was actually rather aggressive and impatient with our family who has no experience on horses. Rather than this being an easy stroll 1300 feet up, he was bent on teaching us the proper way to ride and was trying to get us to trot etc. Hence, he didn't actually take us up to where the advertised views were. He was particularly hard on our son who has some learning disabilities and didn't catch on quickly (we did not mention this part to him -- why would we since we did not know we were going for group riding lessons, not to mention it would have embarrassed our teenage son). Again, the horses and trails are gorgeous. It's just that it was overshadowed by the aggressive personality and excessive sharing of some quasi-political opinions.
