Fantastic Wine tour with Marshall of Northern Route - Fantastic wine tour of the Northern Route in Stellenbosch. Marshall picked us up from our hotel in Stellenbosch and was a very friendly and informative guide. We stopped off at our three chosen vineyards - Simonsig, Delheim and Remhoogte. All were fabulous and we had a charcuterie at Delheim with stunning views down to Table Mountain. Would highly recommend this tour - it was one of the best days on our two week trip to South Africa. Visit wineries without driving - We had a great tour with Marchell on the Northern route, best by far is Delheim the views were amazing and wines even better! Thank Marchell for getting us back to Spier Farm. Highly recommend.

A great day in a great region - We had a great day on the northern route today - great wineries (highlight: Delheim, small but very fine), great wines and above all: great driver. Varied tour, with many choice options - Our day started early as we had chosen the first route. There was probably one of the happiest people ever: Marshall! What can that man tell you, it gives you energy. He gives good and clear instruction. During the day, he comes to check on us to make sure everything is going well. A real host for this tour. We have visited 3 wineries: Simonsig, Delheim and Brake Height. Nice to be here and what amazing views.

Northern Vlneyards on Vine Hopper😋 - Very different vineyards, all beautiful. Pickup from Hotel and flexibility en route. Marshal is a terrific guide/driver.

Great value tour - Great value tour made even more special by the tour guide Marchal. Six wineries of which you could do a maximum of 5. But we chose 4 and also included lunch in one.

Excellent experience - An excellent day and thank you to MARSHALL for his driving, humour and for looking after us so well throughout the day. A great way to see a few vineyards and not have to worry about the driving.

Marshall is the best - Marshall was a perfect driver. He made sure everyone was on time, did not feel rushed, and arranged lunch for the group. He has built great relationships with the different wineries on his route that enable a smooth and pleasant tasting g experience.

Disorganised start. No information whatsoever en route. - Not quite sure why this tour gets such good reviews. Maybe depends on your driver? We had a very mediocre experience doing the northern route. The driver failed to show at the appointed time to pick us up, had to get the tourist office ( pick up point) to phone the office to send a member of staff to collect us. We lost our first half hour due to this mix up. En route there was no info given about any of the wineries, history, nothing forthcoming from the driver except to tell us that the last vineyard on the list was closed. Leaflets hadn't been updated with this information. So all in all it was an expensive taxi service. Cost is 450 rand for a day. We squeezed in 3 vineyards in that time.
