Interesting tour with tasting and visit colonial cities - Nice tour that passes through colonial origin centers and wine houses with wine and cheese tasting. Visit also to historic places and the prison where Nelson Mandela was held. Beautiful views, nice tour, maybe we would have liked to see better the wineries in addition to the tastings. In any case, the judgment is also very good for the preparation and skill of the guides.

Relaxing in wine country in South Africa - We completed the full day wine tour with African Eagle. It was the perfect way visit three local wineries with a driver! Our driver was friendly and knowledgeable about the wineries and the area. The wineries selected were picturesque! Leave the driving to African Eagle and enjoy the wine tasting!

Mis-sold tour but beautiful scenery - We were a little disappointed with this tour. We have an 11 year old daughter and had originally not planned to do a wine tour because didn’t feel that it would be of any interest to her. However, we were sold the tour from our hotel representative as she convinced us that they cater for children by giving them different grape juices to try so they feel as if they are part of the experience, however this was not true. At all three wine estates we had to ask for something for her to drink and she was just given coke or appetiser, so this was very disappointing and she was really bored. The other family we were with had someone who was also not drinking the wine and they were not offered any alternative.
We thought we would get a bit more of a tour of the estates but it was all a rather rushed affair.
This is no reflection on our tour guide who was helpful and we enjoyed seeing the scenery.

Not the best wine tour - This winetour started with 10/10 at the first wineyard. Very nice tasting with cheese with the different wines. Second stop was at Mariannes 5/10, nice views and ok wines, then lunch in Franschoek and then a small touristtrain to last stop wich was 1/10. Totally unintrested wine staff. Our tour guide was excellent but the driver had a poor driving...
My personal suggest is that a half day tour is better.

Not the best wine tasting experience - Great driver/guide who was amusing and informative. The vineyards were ok but some of the wines were not the best (particularly Rickety Bridge). The tram was a joke!…on the tram about 5 minutes at most. The transport was cramped and uncomfortable.

Bad Experience/Poor Customer Service - Pick-up was 20+ minutes late and did not try to contact me at all. Activity listed for an 8:30 start, they weren’t ready to pick me up until closer to 9:20.
Ended up requesting a refund and cancellation due to all of the issues. Company claimed they would cancel and provide full refund (have screenshots) but still no info or confirmation of it being processed.
I do not recommend. For an all day (9hour) activity, I was told by others who attended as well as the company rep that they only visit 3 wineries.
Less expensive and more efficient/timely to go by yourself.
