Great speed boat to Pulpit Rock - Our boat driver/guide, Christopher, was very personable. During the ride, we not only saw pulpit rock, but also saw the mountain goats, Bonnie and Clyde, saw waterfalls, and other sites that he pointed out. I would highly recommend this tour.

Excellent Boat Ride - We were lucky enough to book this boat tour in Stavanger for our group of four, and it was an excellent experience. We arrived by cruise ship, and the meeting point was a quick 10 minute walk from the ship. We were outfitted with water resistant suits at the meeting place and headed out. The weather was perfect--we booked the 11am option. The seas were calm-- like glass, so the ride was smooth. Our guide took us to beautiful waterfalls and scenic areas in the fjord. It was a lot of fun. We also ended up having the entire boat to ourselves, so it was a private excursion. Everyone in our group loved it! The boat was spacious and comfortable. I suggest sitting in the back under the canopy if you are able to do so. It's less windy than the front, although we did go to the front to take photos. Book this tour if you can. I think it is better than a rib boat option for sure.

It deserves more than 5!! - A superb experience from start to finish! We had a wonderful time during this excursion. A big thank you to Rune, our captain, who was absolutely great. Unlike other ultra-touristy boats/RIBs, he explained a lot to us about the landscapes, the places we passed through and the environment, and took the time to make several stops to allow us to discover and better understand what surrounded us (notably the salmon farms). Rune was also particularly kind and attentive to us and especially to the children (5 and almost 3 years old). He really took the time to ensure that everyone fully enjoyed the experience. And a special mention for our captain: for the first time in my life, I didn't throw up on a boat! 😂 A real victory, which proves his kindness at the helm. Thanks again to Rune for his kindness, his explanations and his good humor. An excursion that we recommend with our eyes closed! ❤️ And thanks to Kjeril!

Beautiful ride down the... - Beautiful ride down the fjord in a boat that was much more comfortable and smooth compared to the RIB boats we saw going out at the same time. Our guide Jim was fantastic!

Fjord Splendor - Dress normally as they give you suits, goggles, beanie hats, & gloves to wear. Kjetil was an excellent captain! He pointed out all the sights & even gave us an opportunity to collect & sample some of the water from Whiskey Falls! This speedboat was much more comfortable than the RIB boats! The bus ride back was nice as we stopped at scenic overlook & traveled through the longest underwater tunnel in Norway!

Great tour guide, sorry I... - Great tour guide, sorry I suck at names when I am not paying attention. But he was really good with alot of knowledge about the area. He grew up here aonit was nice to hear. Falls were great, we had a great view of Pulpit Rock. He really opened up the boat and made sure he was bouncing us around so we felt the waves. Great ride. My 1 recommendation is if yiu get hot in thw suits, dont pull it up all the way unless its cold outside. When stopped I pulled mine down to the waste as I was drenched with sweat. Just my thought. Then the breeze was great. Had the 10:15 and got back with plenty of time to explore the city.

Just ok - We rode quite a distance at high speed to see pulpit rock which was ok. Our guide wasn't very informative and I had to ask questions to get info. Our friends had a different guide and they were much happier and informed. Experience depends on guide. I wouldn't do again because it was just a long boat ride. Would have rather gone closer so we enjoy geography.
