• Malacara Canyon - Upon checking in at the park, the trail begins, spanning a total of 4.2 kilometers. Typically, the journey takes about 210 minutes (three and a half hours). The path follows the Malacara Riverbed and includes up to eight river crossings, where you might get your feet and possibly some of your clothes wet.

Throughout the journey, the guide will provide insights into the local wildlife, plant life, and geology, as well as share stories about the regional culture and the formation of the Serra Geral National Park’s Canyon complex.

During the hike, participants will enjoy views of the Canyon walls and observe the transition from the Atlantic Forest to the Araucaria Forest. At the trail’s end, there is an opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the natural pools. After enjoying a snack (not provided), the group will return to the starting point along the same path.

Along the route, there is an opportunity to collect drinking water directly from a natural source. However, it is advisable to bring at least two 500 ml bottles of water.
