Tropical forest in the heart of Rio - Great private tour with a knowledgeable guide!! We saw many sights of the forest we could not have seen without a car. The park was mostly empty and we even got the chance to see wild animals up close. Amazing tour!

It was genuinely one of the highlights of our time in Rio. - We did this tour last Thursday as a family – myself, my wife Renatha and our 10-year-old daughter Milena – visiting from the UK, and we were fortunate enough to have Yan as our guide. It was genuinely one of the highlights of our time in Rio. The whole experience is set in the Tijuca National Park, and from the outset Yan made it feel far more than just a standard tour. We stopped at some incredible spots along the way – beautiful waterfalls like Taunay, caves, and scenic viewpoints such as Vista Chinesa – but what really made it special was how he brought each location to life with his knowledge and enthusiasm. The trek up to the viewpoint was a real standout for us. It had just the right level of challenge to feel like an adventure (especially with a 10-year-old!), and the view from the top was absolutely stunning – one of those moments where you just stop and take it all in. Yan kept the pace perfect throughout and made sure we were always comfortable. What really set him apart, though, was his ability to spot wildlife. He somehow managed to find monkeys for us and even a sloth – which we understand is quite rare – and took the time to make sure we could properly see and appreciate them. That was a huge moment for Milena and something she’ll remember for a long time. Being a biologist, Yan’s knowledge is exceptional, but more importantly he knows how to share it. He spent time teaching Milena Portuguese words and explaining the flora and fauna in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. It never felt like a lecture – more like a conversation that kept her completely interested throughout. It felt very relaxed and personal, and he was full of local insight the entire way – the kind of detail you simply wouldn’t get otherwise. Overall, Yan went above and beyond in every sense. He connected brilliantly with all of us, especially our daughter, and turned what could have been a great tour into a truly memorable experience.

Nature hike and great views of Rio - Daniel was our private driver for myself and my wife. I recommend buying the tour direct with Rio Natural and recomendación the upgrade to a private tour. There is no wait to pickup and drop off and more importantly you dont have to share moments with 27 other people on a bus. We did a lovely scenic hike 30 mins up and 30 mins back. The view back to rio at the top was fab. Higher than the 2 brothers. Rio is a special place. Then onto the highest waterfall in the park. Quite busy so we did not get in but we instead drove to a smaller waterfall and we had it to ourselves. Great shower, haha. Even better when we where leaving 2 tour vans arrived and tranquil was decimated for a while. Those people will not have had the same experience. Finally on the way back we visited the Chinese view point. Another great view. Daniel our guide was excellent. Great tour would highly recommend.

Good adventure! - Our guide Sylvio was great! Very friendly, making sure to help us spot the sloths and monkeys and anything else in the rainforest. He also went with our pace throughout the tour so we never felt rushed or the contrary. Great experience!

Excellent - Eduardo is an excellent guide: we were able to do the walk at a quiet pace and that allowed us to enjoy nature, identify the birds and species of the park. For his excellent willingness and treatment I would hire him again without hesitation. I recommend it.
