• Capela Mayrink - Pause briefly at this historic chapel. The charming pink chapel nestled in the woods, 460 meters above sea level, resembles a storybook house. Built in 1860 by Portuguese banker Viscount de Souto on his farm in Tijuca Forest, the Chapel is a highlight of Tijuca National Park. The altar features reproductions of panels with sacred images by Cândido Portinari. The gardens, along with the Carrara marble and tiled patio tub with a frowning spout, were designed by landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx.
• Vista Chinesa - Enjoy a panoramic view from the Tijuca Rainforest. At Vista Chinesa (Chinese View), capture expansive views of Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, Guanabara Bay, and even Niteroi.

The lookout was constructed between 1902 and 1906. The oriental-style pagoda honors the Chinese who introduced tea cultivation to Brazil in the early 19th century.
