Good Times - If you are looking for an excursion that perfectly balances exhilarating fun with a rich educational experience, the Jeep Adventure: Guided Tour through the Tijuca Rain Forest in Rio de Janeiro is an absolute must-do. Riding in an open-air jeep provides an instant sense of adventure, allowing you to feel the cool jungle breeze and fully immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of one of the world’s largest urban rainforests. Beyond the thrill of the bumpy ride and the excitement of spotting wild monkeys, sloths, and vibrant toucans in the canopy, the tour is incredibly informative. Knowledgeable local guides bring the environment to life by sharing fascinating insights into the region's complex biodiversity, its native flora, and the incredible history of how this lush landscape was successfully reforested after being cleared for coffee plantations in the 19th century. It is a fantastic way to enjoy a thrilling day outdoors, snap breathtaking photos by hidden waterfalls, and leave with a much deeper understanding of Brazil's vital ecological heritage.

Fabulous Jeep Tour with fabulous guide. - Loved this trip. Was picked up on time by Everton and Gigi’s driver for a fabulous 4 hours in Tijuca. A well needed break from the business of Rio. 🙏. Everton, our guide was brilliant, huge knowledge of fauna and flora and we even got to see a monkey and several Tucans. Really great trip - highly recommended!

Get a quick glimpse into the beauty of the Tijuca National Park, while checking out some amazing overlooks. - Had a very informative and personable tour guide! Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.Truly a beautiful park. Loved the experience of being picked up as well. Tijuca was quite far from where we were staying in Copacabana and getting there via taxi would have been easy enough, but once I get to the National Park, I lose phone service. And there weren't really any taxis going through it at all. So the pick up and drop off is a great perk. Overall, a really good experience.

This experience is... - This experience is interesting and different. It roughly is a 4 hour tour which we felt May could have been condensed down to 2hours. The only negative was we thought we would be able to see some wildlife animals.

Tijuca Forest Tour - It was a fascinating visit to the forest and experience the biodiversity. The forest has some amazing trees. The museum was informative, going through the history of the creation of the forest. We would have liked more time in the museum to read all the information. Everton, our guide, was knowledgeable and pleasant.

Friendly tour guide, not quite as much "guidance" given as expected - It was a fine experience. Visited a couple of stops within the Tijuca Rain Forest, included a couple of stops with the Jeep and a short walking tour through the forest at a reasonable pace. There did not seem to be much of an itinerary, however the tour guide was informative, knowledgeable, and friendly. We stopped at a few points to have landmarks or specific trees pointed out to us. The group was on the smaller side of about 8-10 of us.

This tour is definitely... - This tour is definitely not worth the price paid. There wasn't much to see, the waterfall was ok, it's just view points and trees. Didn't think it was worth the $105+ on Viatour. Also we booked this tour on the app for 8:30am which is the time we wanted. And they messaged to say they were not available for the morning. They refused to accommodate us for the morning that we booked. It was either a refund or take the afternoon, they didn't seem to care. We regretted shuffling our other planned activities to go tour on this tour. NOT Worth the high price, should probably be $40. With that said, the driver and tour guide Marcia were very nice, no issues with them.

Bad Service - Lack of communication for travel and pick up times. I took an Uber early and was two hours ahead of the pick up time, they tole me 850a, then on another app 810a, then another 850a as a final confirmation. Pick one up and say what it is, and also no one wanted to take responsibility, Guillermo and Ricardo wrote 850am. No solution, requested a refund, they offered next day, I can't do it, that's why we plan. I lost three hours of my time in the am and they take no reaponsability. Do it with another company that has better communication, this is the issue here, and I reconfirmed 3 times mind you.
