⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Way to Experience Rio – Highly Recommend! - Our experience in Rio de Janeiro was absolutely incredible, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing tour guide. From the moment we started the tour, he made everything easy, fun, and stress-free.
He took us to all the must-see places around Rio — the famous landmarks, beautiful viewpoints, and also some local spots we would have never found on our own. What really made the difference was how helpful he was throughout the entire trip. He helped translate when we needed it, recommended great restaurants and local places to visit, and made sure we always felt comfortable and safe.
Rio is an amazing city but it can feel overwhelming if you don’t know the area. Having a knowledgeable local guide who knows the city so well made the experience completely different. We were able to relax and just enjoy everything — from the scenery to the culture.
He was professional, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best possible experience. If you’re visiting Rio and want to see the city the right way, I highly recommend booking a tour with him.
It truly made our trip unforgettable.

Our experience with Bruno was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we met him, it was clear that he is not just a tour guide — he is a true professional who deeply cares about the people he is hosting.
We traveled with four children, and safety, patience, and flexibility were extremely important for our family. Bruno exceeded our expectations in every possible way. He made us feel completely safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the entire experience.
His knowledge of Brazil is incredible. Bruno does not just know the tourist spots — he understands the culture, history, and hidden gems that most visitors would never discover on their own. Every place he brought us to had meaning, context, and a story behind it.
What truly sets Bruno apart is how connected and resourceful he is. It feels like he knows everyone in the city. Because of his relationships and local knowledge, he was able to guide us to the best restaurants, help us avoid heavy traffic, and make sure our schedule flowed smoothly without stress.

private group tour during the craziness of carnival week - Bruno from Boston Bruno Tours was, without a doubt, the best decision we made for our entire Rio trip.
Months before we even arrived in Brazil, Bruno was already helping me plan every detail of our Rio itinerary. He didn’t just give generic suggestions — he took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and personalised everything down to the smallest detail. Every activity, restaurant, and experience felt perfectly tailored to us.
His communication was incredible from the very beginning. He was always available to answer every question I had (and I had a lot!), both before we arrived and during our stay in Rio. That level of support made such a difference, especially travelling from overseas.
As a group, we were quite anxious about safety in Rio, but Bruno completely eased all of our concerns. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and confident. Before even taking us to our Airbnb, he stopped to help us safely exchange currency and showed us exactly how to use the bank and navigate things securely — it was something we would never have known how to do on our own.
He also organised our airport transfers and helped us get to our next destination after Rio, making the entire travel process seamless and stress-free.
On top of all of that, he sent us countless recommendations for restaurants, bars, and food spots across all price ranges — and every single recommendation was spot on.
And one of the most unforgettable moments of our entire trip… while we were in Brazil, we decided we wanted to go to a local soccer match. Of course, we couldn’t imagine going without Bruno. We chose to buy him a ticket to come with us (completely our choice, just to show our love and gratitude for everything he had done for us), and we spent the entire night together experiencing it like locals do. It was electric, authentic, and something we will never forget — and Bruno made it happen for us straight away.
But more than anything, what made Bruno so special was his energy. He didn’t feel like a tour guide — he felt like a friend. Someone who genuinely cared about our experience and wanted us to fall in love with Rio the way he has.
If you are travelling to Rio, do yourself a favour and book with Bruno. You will not regret it.
We will 1000% be seeing this man again & you should 1000% plan a trip to Rio & if it’s not with Bruno. There is no point at all! This man IS Rio

Fantastic Rio experience with Bruno! - Bruno is a fantastic guide! He seems to know everyone on all the sites we visited, guided us expertly thru the fast pass lines, and made our experience in Rio delightful. On the next day, we checked in with him again, and he took us to sites we never would have seen on our own! He is extremely knowledgeable on all things Rio. Our daughter and grandson will be close to Rio in the next week, coincidentally, and we arranged for Bruno to host them on their last day… we are so relieved he will spend their last day touring Rio with him! They will be in good hands! We highly recommend this great guy to give you an experience of a lifetime.

A must do when in Rio! - This was my second time visiting Rio, and without hesitation, the very first thing I did when planning my trip was message Bruno to set up another tour. That alone says everything about the kind of experience he provides.
Bruno is truly exceptional at what he does. He’s always punctual, incredibly professional, and plans each day so thoughtfully that everything flows perfectly. You get to see all the highlights, but also the hidden gems you’d never find on your own. He knows Rio inside and out, from the history to the culture to the local spots, and he shares it all with so much passion and energy that it makes the entire experience unforgettable. His enthusiasm is contagious, and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does.
On top of that, his English is flawless, which makes communication effortless. He explains everything clearly, answers every question with patience, and makes you feel completely comfortable from the start. Whether it’s your first time in Rio or your fifth, he tailors the experience so it feels personal and unique.
What really sets Bruno apart is how much he cares beyond the actual tour. He’s always available on WhatsApp and responds almost instantly, pretty much 24/7. A great day in Rio - We had the best day with Bruno. We scheduled this day many months in advance, and Bruno had great communication with us the entire time. We worked out an itinerary together, and everything was perfect when the day finally arrived. You will learn a ton about Rio with him, many things you will not find in any guidebook. I highly recommend working with Bruno if you are coming to Rio.

Bruno was absolutely amazing and truly made our trip to Rio unforgettable.
He showed us all the must-see spots — Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf, historic churches, the Royal Portuguese Reading Room, and more — and even took us through the favelas, where we felt completely safe the entire time. Everything was so well organized, and having a driver made the experience smooth and stress-free.
What made it extra special is that Bruno helped coordinate my boyfriend’s proposal at Sugarloaf — this is where we got engaged. He was thoughtful, discreet, and genuinely excited for us, which meant so much.

He took my girlfriend and me all over Rio, showing us both the iconic sights and the real, authentic side of the city that most tourists never get to see.
What truly sets Bruno apart is that he goes far beyond what any tour guide is expected to do. He didn’t just guide us — he looked out for us. He taught us the ins and outs of walking around Rio, where to go, what to avoid, where to eat incredible food, and where to find the best vibes. Best 1st time experience in Rio with Bruno - I had the pleasure of working with Bruno, who came highly recommended by a friend. Upon reaching out, he quickly organized a comprehensive tour itinerary and provided a detailed cost breakdown, which included airport pickup and return. Bruno guided me on what to book and the essential timings.
