Highly recommended! - We booked this private tour via civitatis from Spain and everything was perfect. Once you make the payment, civitatis gives you direct contact with them to schedule time and place of collection. In our case, the guide was Israel who also spoke Spanish. He picked us up in the morning with a driver and a premium vehicle. Already from the journey we were guiding and telling details of the city as we passed through the neighborhoods. The tour includes FAST TRACK non-stop access to sugar loaf. It is true that we went early to avoid crowds and take the best possible photos but it is highly recommended from noon where queues and queues already form. Since we had enough time, Israel stopped us on the steps of Salerón, with fewer people at that time to take some photos and make a tasting of different cachaças in a place on the same street. What an experience! Finally we went to the train station for Christ the Redeemer. Here we did have to do some waiting because it is a single row but still, Israel told us which seats to choose to have the best climbing views. A total hit, super recommended. Especially if you want to go up to Christ, it is a real chaos of people and as in many places in Rio, the staff does not speak English. Highly recommended!
