- Guanabara Bay - As the tour commences, you’ll witness the Museum of Tomorrow, designed by renowned Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. As the boat sails under the Rio – Niteroi bridge, you’ll catch glimpses of the Santa Teresa neighborhood, Santos Dumont airport, and the three forts built to safeguard the city: São João, Lajes, and Santa Cruz. The distant city exudes tranquility, and the views of Rio from the sea are simply stunning. As the boat circles back, you’ll encounter the city of Niteroi on the opposite side of the bridge, offering one of the finest views of Rio.
Experience the most picturesque scenery of Rio. It boasts the world’s largest bay by water volume, featuring several islands such as Governor’s Island, Fundão, and Snakes Island. For relaxation, enjoy the onboard bar where caipirinhas and other beverages are available for purchase, while seasonal tropical fruits like watermelon and pineapples are complimentary!
- Aterro Do Flamengo - On the return journey, you’ll drive through Aterro do Flamengo, where the magnificent Sugar Loaf can be admired in all its splendor, before arriving at a traditional Barbecue Lunch.
- Carretão Ipanema Classic Grill - Arrive at a traditional all-you-can-eat Barbecue Restaurant. Brazilian Churrascarias (Barbecue venues) offer a wide array of sides and alternative options. Even if you opt for a vegetarian meal, satisfaction is guaranteed.
- Corcovado - Christ the Redeemer - Post-lunch, the tour proceeds to the Cosme Velho neighborhood, with a van ride up Corcovado Mountain through the lush Tijuca rainforest to the majestic Christ Redeemer statue. Overlooking Rio, the statue stands 38m tall (125ft). Gazing up, you’ll feel blessed and protected by this magnificent monument of Christ with open arms, now one of the New Seven Wonders of the World! From this vantage point, you can view most of the city, the entire south zone, and even Niteroi. It’s a breathtaking view that will leave you in awe. You’ll have approximately 40 minutes to explore all the perspectives and views of Corcovado and its globally renowned Christ Statue.
- Escadaria Selaron - Following the Christ Statue visit, a van ride takes you to Santa Teresa, a neighborhood where relaxation and tradition converge. It also showcases street art, including the remarkable Selaron Steps. These beautiful ceramic steps, crafted by artist Jorge Selarón, are truly unique.
