Brutal but worth it - VANESSA <3, my tour guide was so knowledgable about the mountain and the ecosystem from the plants to the animals. Hike is definitely not for the weak…pretty brutal and hot going up. Hotel pick up was very convenient and got to experience the best views of beaches on the jeep style vehicle. Protip- bring a towel, buy water, if you sweat a lot maybe an extra shirt in your bag for pics when you get to the top. I will definitely book another tour experience with the company. ALOHA…you will understand this phrase when you get to the top lol. They take professional photos for R$5 each photo and your tour guide can take the on the phone. D100% recommend.

Don’t lose this opportunity if you want to see great views and be outdoors in RJ - Amazing experience and Gustavo has great experience in this hiking. I fully recommend it. It takes about 1 hr to reach the main point plus 1 home more to reach the telegraph rock by hiking I would say it for medium level and bring
proper shoes for hiking since it gets slippery.

Living on the Edge! - This was a physically CHALLENGING experience! If you are not in decent physical shape (great knees, great legs, great lungs), this may not be a tour for you. The hike up the mountain is TOUGH! It is almost an hour long hike on rugged terrain. The Telegraph Stone is at a height of 1161 feet (354 meters). But if you can make it to the top, it is WORTH THE CHALLENGE! The views are breathtaking and the pics are priceless! Mauricio, our tour guide was patient, accommodating and as can be seen, also a GREAT PHOTOGRAPHER, he took my pix shown here, thanks bro. The tour van however is quite OLD and is in poor shape and SHOULD to be replaced. The ride in the van was very uncomfortable. We were all crammed in with little or no leg room. Please please please get a NEW VEHICLE. Would I do this specific tour again? HELL NO as it is very challenging physically plus, unless you're at the telegraph stone at the crack of dawn, you'll have to wait for close to 2 hrs to take your pics as there'll be others ahead of you and some folks in other tour groups are selfish and want to take 50 pics per person! There should be a limit of no more than 10 mins of pic taking per person! Anyway, I am happy I was able to complete the hike and get my pics with that iconic piece of rock! Go for it! You won't be disappointed!

I thought this was a... - I thought this was a great activity and really enjoyed it. The trail was definitely steep and challenging if you aren't in good shape. The views at the top were amazing.
Please note that it says limit of 8 in a group, but our group had 14 people in it. The description also refers to jeep transportation, but we did not have that for our tour.

View of taking the breath - Amazing view! A unique experience, the guide Rafael very careful and charismatic. Fair value. Warning for those who do not have much physical preparation: the track is not as light as in the description, people from my group have not been able to finish, but it is worth the sacrifice.

Beautiful yet and good pictures - If you book an English guide, it turns out that he hardly speaks English. Saves that a woman in the group could translate for us. The hike up is tough but you are rewarded with beautiful views. At the telegraph rock itself is a professional photographer who helps you with the light and beautiful positions for the photo. Photos are for sale for BRL5,00 so definitely not expensive and worth it. At the top is a queue, so hope for few people. We were lucky and won't wait long. You can also buy drinks and fruit at the rock.

Cool photo, but would not recommend - Overall, would not recommend. Views were cool, we hiked for 45-50 minutes a moderately steep path, but then waited 2.5 hours to take a photo. If you decide to book, bring sun protection. lots of water, and a lunch. You will be gone for a while and most is waiting in line.

Do not respond to messages - Tour operator does not respond to messages. I sent them a message and they absolutely ignored it. Do not recommend.
